In this paper, we study Aronson-B\’{e}nilan gradient estimates for positive solutions of weighted porous medium equations $$\partial_{t}u(x,t)=\Delta_{\phi}u^{p}(x,t),\,\,\,\,(x,t)\in M\times[0,T]$$ coupled with the geometric flow $\frac{\partial g}{\partial t}=2h(t),\,\,\,\frac{\partial \phi}{\partial t}=\Delta \phi$ on a complete measure space $(M^{n},g,e^{-\phi}dv)$. As an application, by integrating the gradient estimates, we derive the corresponding Harnack inequalities.

In this paper, we mainly consider the well-posedness and long-time behavior of solutions for the nonlocal diffusion porous medium equations with nonlinear term. Firstly, we obtain the well-posedness of the solutions in L1(Ω) for the equations. Secondly, we prove the existence of a global attractor by proving there exists a compact absorbing set. Finally, we apply index theory to consider the dimension of the attractor and prove that there exists an infinite dimensional attractor of the equations under proper conditions.

Abstract This paper is devoted to a simple proof of the generalized Leibniz rule in bounded domains. The operators under consideration are the so-called spectral Laplacian and the restricted Laplacian. Equations involving such operators have lately been considered by Constantin and Ignatova in the framework of the SQG equation [P. Constantin and M. Ignatova, Critical SQG in bounded domains, Ann. PDE 2 2016, 2, Article ID 8] in bounded domains, and by two of the authors [Q.-H. Nguyen and J. L. Vázquez, Porous medium equation with nonlocal pressure in a bounded domain, Comm. Partial Differential Equations 43 2018, 10, 1502–1539] in the framework of the porous medium with nonlocal pressure in bounded domains. We will use the estimates in this work in a forthcoming paper on the study of porous medium equations with pressure given by Riesz-type potentials.

This paper studies the following two porous medium equations with singular boundary conditions. First, we obtain that finite time quenching on the boundary, as well as kt blows up at the same finite time and lower bound estimates of the quenching time of the equation kt = (kn)xx + (1 − k)−α, (x,t) ∈ (0,L) × (0,T) with (kn)x (0,t) = 0, (kn)x (L,t) = (1 − k(L,t))−β, t ∈ (0,T) and initial function k(x,0) = k0 (x), x ∈ [0, L] where n > 1, α and β and positive constants. Second, we obtain that finite time queching on the boundary, as well as kt blows up at the same finite time and a local existence resultbythehelpofsteadystateoftheequationkt =(kn)xx,(x,t)∈(0,L)×(0,T)with (kn)x (0,t) = (1 − k(0,t))−α, (kn)x (L,t) = (1 − k(L,t))−β, t ∈ (0,T) and initial function k (x, 0) = k0 (x), x ∈ [0, L] where n > 1, α and β and positive constants.

This paper deals with the blow-up phenomena for a type of nonlinear porous medium equations with weighted source ut −4um = a(x)f(u) subject to Dirichlet (or Neumann) boundary conditions. Based on the auxiliary functions and differential-integral inequalities, the blow-up criterions which ensure that u cannot exist all time are given under two different assumptions, and the corresponding estimates on the upper bounds for blow-up time and blow-up rate are derived respectively. Moreover, we use three different methods to determine the lower bounds for blow-up time and blow-up rate estimates if blow-up does occurs.
