This paper introduces BIOLEACH, a new decision support model for the real-time management of municipal solid waste bioreactor landfills that allows estimating the leachate and biogas production. Leachate production is estimated using an adaptation of the water balance equation which considers every hydrological component and the water consumed by anaerobic organic matter degradation to create biogas and the leachate recirculation flows pumped from the landfill pond under a bioreactor management scheme. Landfill gas production is estimated considering the leachate formation process as a coupled effect through the production or consumption of water. BIOLEACH uses waste production and climate data at monthly scale and computes leachate production accounting for the actual conditions inside the waste mass. Biogas production is computed simultaneously, considering the available water to adjust the chemical organic matter biodegradation. BIOLEACH is a valuable bioreactor managing tool as it allows calculating the recirculation volume of leachate that ensures optimal moisture conditions inside the waste mass and therefore maximizing biogas production. As an illustrative example of a BIOLEACH application, the model has been applied to a real landfill located in Murcia Region (Spain) showing the economic and environmental benefits derived from leachate superficial recirculation.

The visual and simulated system of the orbiting satellite based on the OpenGL technology is designed and realized in this paper, in which a visualization platform of the satellite in-orbit running is constructed. The simulation system has constructed the satellite model and the earth model by making use of 3DS MAX technology, and achieved the visualization of satellite in-orbit-running, the visualization of the communication route and of the overlay effect. At the same time, which has realized the access to the database of the orbiting satellite by means of ADO technology .The practices have proven that the system can simulate the whole process of satellite in-orbit-running in real-time, and provides the assistant support platform of the real-time management and decision. Apart from this, the system provides the network training of the space forces with virtual training platform. It is of great significance to construct the virtual battlefield simulation system.

This paper presents an implementation of real-time energy management systems (EMS) to maximize the efficiency of the electricity distribution in an isolated hybrid microgrid system (HMGS) containing photovoltaic modules, wind turbine, battery energy storage system, and diesel generator (DG) which is used as a backup source. These systems are making progress worldwide thanks to their respect for the environment. However, hybridization of several sources requires power flow control (PFC). For this reason, in this work, a proper energy management system is developed using LabVIEW software and embedded in a suitable platform for the real-time management of the hybrid energy system. The developed EMS is tested and validated through a small-scale application which accurately represents the case study of an isolated mosque located in a remote area of Morocco. The aim of this paper is to (i) propose a novel modelling method and real-time monitoring interface under the LabVIEW software based on the real data obtained by an optimal sizing previously made using Homer-pro software and (ii) implement the power control system on a low-consumption embedded platform that is the Raspberry-pi3.
