The paper studies how to mine automatically and process the dormancy data and then improve the performance of database management system. It analyzes the main mode of dormant data into the data warehouse, the innovative design of SQL capture and changer function, as well as gives the statistical method of recognition dormant data in data warehouse, and the SQL change and capture function migration to the application server, automatic capture dormancy data without professional intervention. It helps to solve the problem of the lack of staff and cumulative historical data influence performance of the database management system in the small and medium-sized enterprises.

AbstractAn object-oriented medical database management system is presented for a typical cardiologic center, facilitating epidemiological trials. Object-oriented analysis and design were used for the system design, offering advantages for the integrity and extendibility of medical information systems. The system was developed using object-oriented design and programming methodology, the C++ language and the Borland Paradox Relational Data Base Management System on an MS-Windows NT environment. Particular attention was paid to system compatibility, portability, the ease of use, and the suitable design of the patient record so as to support the decisions of medical personnel in cardiovascular centers. The system was designed to accept complex, heterogeneous, distributed data in various formats and from different kinds of examinations such as Holter, Doppler and electrocardiography.

PT Bukaka Teknik Utama adalah perusahaan yang bergerak di bidang engineering, konstruksi, dan manufaktur. Dalam operasional usaha, diperlukan berbagai izin seperti izin usaha dan izin proyek yang merupakan bagian dari Dokumen Legal. Saat ini informasi Dokumen Legal di PT Bukaka Teknik Utama dikelola dalam aplikasi desktop yang bernama SIDOL (Sistem Informasi Dokumen Legal). Aplikasi juga digunakan untuk memonitoring masa berlaku dokumen. Namun begitu, aplikasi ini memiliki beberapa kekurangan, diantaranya adalah hanya dapat diakses oleh komputer yang terpasang aplikasi tersebut, hanya dapat diakses dari jaringan lokal (LAN), dan sistem notifikasi yang hanya dapat dilihat saat pengguna membuka aplikasi. Untuk mengatasi kekurangan tersebut, akan dilakukan perancangan ulang aplikasi sehingga mampu menjawab kekurangan yang ada. Pembuatan aplikasi menggunakan metode prototipe. Metode ini memiliki lima tahapan pengembangan yaitu communication, quick plan, modeling quick design, construction of prototype, and deployment delivery and feedback. Aplikasi dibangun menggunakan bahasa pemrograman HTML untuk tampilan, PHP untuk pengolahan data di sisi server, CSS untuk page styling, Code Igniter sebagai framework, dan Micsosoft SQL Server sebagai Database Management System. Hasil akhir aplikasi adalah menyediakan aplikasi yang dapat diakses semua karyawan yang membutuhlkan informasi Dokumen Legal serta memberikan notifikasi melalui e-mail ketika terdapat dokumen yang masa berlakunya akan segera berakhir.
