ABSTRACTA number of diagnostics problems in the low temperature plasma generators have been analysed with special attention to the plasma spraying process, and a general approach to these problems has been proposed. The advantages, difficulties and limitations of optical nonintrusive methods have been discussed. Examples based on authors experience during last few years, are given.
