An inclusive measurement of the Intermediate Mass Fragments(IMF) with Z =3,4,5 emitted from 18 O +12 C reaction at 80 MeV has been done. Reaction model analysis show that at such low energies IMF s are emitted primarily from projectile breakup. This indicates possible heavy cluster configurations of the 18 O nucleus.
