O presente trabalho busca revisitar a Criminologia Dialética de Roberto Lyra Filho no ano comemorativo da quarta década de sua publicação, de sorte que a retomada do seu pensamento vibra ainda como singelo tributo nestes vinte e cinco anos de sua morte. As linhas aqui desenvolvidas evidenciam, sem nenhum receio, o pulsar ainda vívido de suas ideias, as quais não perderam a pertinência com os tempos idos, despontando inegavelmente oportunas para o (re)pensar das Ciências Criminais contemporâneas. Assim, no esforço de explorar as contribuições de Lyra Filho, respeitando as limitações próprias da pesquisa aqui exarada, o trabalho propõe uma imersão nos aspectos sócio-filosóficos que alicerçam as Ciências Criminais, arrematando a construção empreendida na tão mencionada relevância do pensamento daquele autor.
