AbstractThis paper deals with some existence, uniqueness and Ulam–Hyers–Rassias stability results for a class of implicit fractional q-difference equations. Some applications are made of some fixed point theorems in Banach spaces for the existence and uniqueness of solutions, next we prove that our problem is generalized Ulam–Hyers–Rassias stable. Two illustrative examples are given in the last section.

We study the stability of the differential process of Rochberg and Weiss associated with an analytic family of Banach spaces obtained using the complex interpolation method for families. In the context of Köthe function spaces, we complete earlier results of Kalton (who showed that there is global bounded stability for pairs of Köthe spaces) by showing that there is global (bounded) stability for families of up to three Köthe spaces distributed in arcs on the unit circle while there is no (bounded) stability for families of four or more Köthe spaces. In the context of arbitrary pairs of Banach spaces, we present some local stability results and some global isometric stability results.

This paper deals with the approximate solution of the following functional equation fx7+y77=f(x)+f(y), where f is a mapping from R into a normed vector space. We show stability results of this equation in quasi-β-Banach spaces and (β,p)-Banach spaces. We also prove the nonstability of the previous functional equation in a relevant case.

Necessary and sufficient conditions for a Banach space with the Mazur intersection property to be an Asplund space are given. It is proved that Mazur intersection property is determined by the separable subspaces of the space. Corresponding problems for a space to have the ball-generated property are considered. Some comments on possible renorming so that a space having the Mazur intersection property are given.

We give a characterisation of Banach spaces X containing a subspace with a shrinking Markushevich basis {xγ, fγ}γ∈Γ. This gives a sufficient condition for X to have a renorming with Mazur's intersection property.

In this paper, we prove some existence and Ulam-Hyers-Rassias stability results for a class of initial value problem for implicit nonlinear fractional differential equations and generalized Ψ-Hilfer fractional derivative in Banach spaces. The results are based on fixed point theorems of Darbo and Monch associated with the technique of measure of noncompactness. Illustrative examples are the subject of the last section.

In this paper, we investigate the stability problem in the spirit of Hyers-Ulam, Rassias and G·avruta for the quadratic functional equation:f(2x + y) + f(2x ¡ y) = 2f(x + y) + 2f(x ¡ y) + 4f(x) ¡ 2f(y) in 2-Banach spaces. These results extend the generalized Hyers-Ulam stability results by thequadratic functional equation in normed spaces to 2-Banach spaces.

AbstractIn this work, we discuss the existence and Ulam's type stability concepts for a class of partial functional differential inclusions with not instantaneous impulses and a nonconvex valued right hand side in Banach spaces. An example is also provided to illustrate our results.
