A facile one-step procedure for solvothermal synthesis of highly water-dispersible biocompatible magnetic Fe3O4 nanoparticles mediated by cucurbit[n]urils (CB[n]s) was presented.
The catalytic activity of magnetic Fe3O4 nanoparticles to promote the reduction of β-lactams containing nitroaryl groups to β-lactams containing aminoaryl groups in ethanol was reported. This methodology is convenient and green.
An MNPs-N-propyl-benzoguanamine-SO3H nanocatalyst as a novel, retrievable, economic and heterogeneous catalyst is prepared for the synthesis of 1,8-dioxo-decahydroacridine derivatives.
