This paper illustrates the possibility of producing iono-molecular separations using ionic colloidal ultrafiltration membrane of polysulfone synthetic solutions of cupric ions and nitro phenols through ultrafiltration assisted by polymeric nanoparticle composites based on polysulfone. In the present work, in order to reduce the operating pressure and increase the flow of water we are using the process of ultrafiltration through a polysulfone membrane in N-methylpyrrolidone 10% prepared by coagulation in isopropanol. The nanoparticles needed in colloidal ultrafiltration had been obtained through the immersion technique of precipitation of a solution of 5% PSf in N-methyl pyrrolidone containing 3% aniline in lower alcohols: methanol, ethanol, and isopropanol, followed by the oxidation of the remaining aniline in a solution of 10% hydrochloric acid and ammonium persulfate. The Nanoparticles of polysulfone (NP-PSf) and The three obtained variants of nanoparticles composites (NP-PSf-PANI) were morphologically (SEM) and (AFM), structurally and compositionally (FTIR) characterized and the results show that nanoparticles polysulfone have a much lower range than the composites. The Possibility of copper complexation by both nitrophenols, and by nanoparticle surface probably lead to the formation of more stable aggregates in the supply, which can sufficiently justify the increased retention. The Retentions of the chemical species in question use in all the tests made the same series:R NP-PSf-PANI-M] R NP-PSf-PANI-E] R NP-PSf-PANI-P] R NP-PSf

Vistula Lagoon is the second largest lagoon in the Baltic Sea with maximum depth 5.2 m and average depth 2.7 m. Water volume and area are 2.3 km3 and 838 km2. Lagoon is connected with the Baltic Sea by single inlet 400 m wide and 10-12 m deep. Sediment budget estimation were made using literature sources, results of field measurements (hydrology, suspended sediment content, upper layer sediment structure, direct measurements of sedimentation in summer and winter conditions). The budget for terrigene and biogenic components of sediments were made, considering their contributions from the rivers, inflow from the Baltic Sea, coastal erosion and aerial flux, biological production within the lagoon, totally - ca. 730 thousands ton per year. Nearly half of total gain is washed out (105 and 244 thousands ton per year of terrigene and biogenic components), another half is dissolved and mineralized (biogenic component), and only 10% is deposited on the bottom, resulting in rather low sedimentation rate - 0.4 mm/year during last 100 years. Paper explain the reason of difference with estimation made in (Chubarenko&Chubarenko, 2002) and concludes that the clarification of estimates of the amounts of sediments transported from the lagoon to the Baltic Sea is a critical element for understanding the evolution of the Vistula Lagoon as a sedimentation system.

Abstract An investigation was made of the effects exerted by benthic macroinvertebrate communities on copper speciation in sediments from a lake which is becoming acidified. In laboratory microcosms, benthic macroinvertebrate communities stimulated the flux of copper from sediment to water. The presence of the macro-benthos resulted in a redistribution of physico-chemical copper species within the sediment with a transfer from more strongly complexed forms (HC1 extractable) to adsorbed and cation exchangeable forms (MgCl2 extractable). The role of bio-turbation in copper transformations is discussed.
