Sensor networks are deployed in, and react with, chaotic environments. Self-organizing peer-to-peer networks have admirable survivability characteristics. This chapter discusses random network formalisms for designing, modeling, and analyzing survivable sensor networks. Techniques are given for determining critical values. Applications in system security and surveillance networks are given.

This paper discusses the application of random network coding safety problems , when transfering files, and Puts forward an algorithm that targets eavesdropping adversaries By means of this algorithm,an eavesdropper is unable to get any meaningful information about the source, which we call weak security. We show that if we give up a small amount of over all capacity, then a random code achieves the weak security condition at a much higher probability. Besides, when there is a secret channel or apublic encryption scheme between the source and destination,an algorithm that not only achieves the max-flow but also the weak security condition is proposed. The probability of the coding scheme to be security is 1,when random codingscheme is used.

Network coding is a network packet transmitting protocol, applied to increase the achievable throughput for the exchange of information between two terminals through one relay. Throughput efficiency this paper reviews latency and bandwidth efficient coding algorithm based on principles of network coding for retransmitting lost packets in wireless multicast network. It outlines the basic principles and important techniques for retransmission of packets in network coding.Network coding is new paradigm that allows the intermediate nodes in a network to create new packets by combining packets received on their incoming edges. The main application of the networking coding technique includes content distribution, peer to peer networks, and wireless ad-hoc networks.Such network is characterized by highly dynamic set of users and frequent topological changes. There are two main advantages of Network coding approach are potential throughput improvements and a high degree of robustness.
