We study the asymptotic behaviour of the powers of a composition operator on various Banach spaces of holomorphic functions on the disc, namely, standard weighted Bergman spaces (finite and infinite order), Bloch space, little Bloch space, Bloch-type space and Dirichlet space. Moreover, we give a complete characterization of those composition operators that are similar to an isometry on these various Banach spaces. We conclude by studying the asymptotic behaviour of semigroups of composition operators on these various Banach spaces.

AbstractFor some Banach spaces of analytic functions in the unit disk (weighted Bergman spaces, Bloch space, Dirichlet-type spaces), the isometric pointwise multipliers are found to be unimodular constants. As a consequence, it is shown that none of those spaces have isometric zero-divisors. Isometric coefficient multipliers are also investigated.

Letφbe a holomorphic self-map andgbe a fixed holomorphic function on the unit ballB. The boundedness and compactness of the operatorTg,φf(z)=∫01f(φ(tz))ℜg(tz)dttfrom the generalized weighted Bergman space into the µ-Bloch space are studied in this paper.

Abstract For the class of Hardy spaces and standard weighted Bergman spaces of the unit disk, we prove that the spectrum of a generalized Cesàro operator $T_g$ is unchanged if the symbol $g$ is perturbed to $g+h$ by an analytic function $h$ inducing a quasi-nilpotent operator $T_h$, that is, spectrum of $T_h$ equals $\{0\}$. We also show that any $T_g$ operator that can be approximated in the operator norm by an operator $T_h$ with bounded symbol $h$ is quasi-nilpotent. In the converse direction, we establish an equivalent condition for the function $g \in \textbf{BMOA}$ to be in the $\textbf{BMOA}$ norm closure of $H^{\infty }$. This condition turns out to be equivalent to quasi-nilpotency of the operator $T_g$ on the Hardy spaces. This raises the question whether similar statement is true in the context of Bergman spaces and the Bloch space. Furthermore, we provide some general geometric properties of the spectrum of $T_{g}$ operators.

Abstract In this article, we define the bicomplex weighted Bergman spaces on the bidisk and their associated weighted Bergman projections, where the respective Bergman kernels are determined. We study also the bicomplex Bergman projection onto the bicomplex Bloch space.

AbstractThe inclusions between the Besov spaces $$B^q$$ B q , the Bloch space $$\mathcal {B}$$ B and the standard weighted Bergman spaces $$A^p_{\alpha}$$ A α p are completely understood, but the norms of the corresponding inclusion operators are in general unknown. In this work, we compute or estimate asymptotically the norms of these inclusions.

AbstractWe establish an embedding theorem for the weighted Bergman spaces induced by a positive Borel measure $$d\omega (y)dx$$ d ω ( y ) d x with the doubling property $$\omega (0,2t)\le C\omega (0,t)$$ ω ( 0 , 2 t ) ≤ C ω ( 0 , t ) . The characterization is given in terms of Carleson squares on the upper half-plane. As special cases, our result covers the standard weights and logarithmic weights. As an application, we also establish the boundedness of the area operator.
