In this paper, we investigate a normalized analytic (symmetric under rotation) function, f, in an open unit disk that satisfies the condition ℜfzgz>0, for some analytic function, g, with ℜz+1−2nzgz>0,∀n∈N. We calculate the radius constants for different classes of analytic functions, including, for example, for the class of star-like functions connected with the exponential functions, i.e., the lemniscate of Bernoulli, the sine function, cardioid functions, the sine hyperbolic inverse function, the Nephroid function, cosine function and parabolic star-like functions. The results obtained are sharp.

The goal of the present investigation is to introduce a new class of analytic functions (Kt,q), defined in the open unit disk, by means of the q-difference operator, which may have symmetric or assymetric properties, and to establish the relationship between the new defined class and appropriate subordination. We derived relationships of this class and obtained sufficient conditions for an analytic function to be Kt,q. Finally, in the concluding section, we have taken the decision to restate the clearly-proved fact that any attempt to create the rather simple (p,q)-variations of the results, which we have provided in this paper, will be a rather inconsequential and trivial work, simply because the added parameter p is obviously redundant.

Let [Formula: see text] be an analytic function defined on the open unit disc [Formula: see text], with [Formula: see text], satisfying the subordination [Formula: see text], where [Formula: see text]. The domain [Formula: see text] is bounded by a Limaçon and the function [Formula: see text] is called starlike function associated with Limaçon domain. For [Formula: see text], we find the smallest disc [Formula: see text] and the largest disc [Formula: see text], centered at [Formula: see text] such that the domain [Formula: see text] is contained in [Formula: see text] and contains [Formula: see text]. By using this result, we find the radius of Limaçon starlikeness for the class of starlike functions of order [Formula: see text] [Formula: see text] and the class of functions [Formula: see text] satisfying [Formula: see text], [Formula: see text]. We give extension of our results for Janowski starlike functions.

AbstractIn this paper, by using a technique of the first-order differential subordination, we find several sufficient conditions for an analytic function p such that $p(0)=1$ p ( 0 ) = 1 to satisfy $\operatorname{Re}\{ {\mathrm{e}}^{{\mathrm{i}}\beta } p(z) \} > \gamma $ Re { e i β p ( z ) } > γ or $| \arg \{p(z)-\gamma \} |<\delta $ | arg { p ( z ) − γ } | < δ for all $z\in \mathbb{D}$ z ∈ D , where $\beta \in (-\pi /2,\pi /2)$ β ∈ ( − π / 2 , π / 2 ) , $\gamma \in [0,\cos \beta )$ γ ∈ [ 0 , cos β ) , $\delta \in (0,1]$ δ ∈ ( 0 , 1 ] and $\mathbb{D}:=\{z\in \mathbb{C}:|z|<1 \}$ D : = { z ∈ C : | z | < 1 } . The results obtained here will be applied to find some conditions for spirallike functions and strongly starlike functions in $\mathbb{D}$ D .

This paper contains an overview of recent results of Area-Nevanlinna classes in higher dimension. We here consider various aspects of this new interesting research area of analytic function theory in higher dimension (integral operations, embedding theorems, Taylor coefficients). Previously in one dimension all these results were known. New open interesting Problems in this new research area will be also discussed and indicated.

This article comprises the study of differential subordination with analogue of q -derivative. It includes the sufficient condition on γ for 1 + γ ∂ z q h z / h n z to be subordinated by 1 + A z / 1 + B z , − 1 ≤ B < A ≤ 1 , and implies that h z ≺ 1 + z , where h z is the analytic function in the open unit disk. Moreover, certain sufficient conditions for q -starlikeness of analytic functions related with lemniscate of Bernoulli are determined.

As of late quantum calculus is broadly utilized in different parts of mathematics. Uniquely, the hypothesis of univalent functions can be newly portrayed by utilizing q -calculus. In this paper, we utilize our recently presented symmetric p , q -number m ˜   p , q to characterize new symmetric p , q -derivative D   p , q of analytic function f in the open unit disk U . Utilizing D   p , q , we introduce new class of analytic star-like functions and examine some fascinating results.

Let h be a nonvanishing analytic function in the open unit disc with h 0 = 1 . Consider the class consisting of normalized analytic functions f whose ratios f z / g z , g z / z p z , and p z are each subordinate to h for some analytic functions g and p . The radius of starlikeness of order α is obtained for this class when h is chosen to be either h z = 1 + z or h z = e z . Further, starlikeness radii are also obtained for each of these two classes, which include the radius of Janowski starlikeness, and the radius of parabolic starlikeness.

In this paper, we study Weyl type theorems for $f(T)$, where $T$ is algebraically class $p$-$wA(s, t)$ operator with $0 < p \leq 1$ and $0 < s, t, s + t \leq 1$ and $f$ is an analytic function defined on an open neighborhood of the spectrum of $T$. Also we show that if $A , B^{*} \in B(\mathcal{H}) $ are class $p$-$wA(s, t)$ operators with $0 < p \leq 1$ and $0 < s, t, s + t \leq 1$,then generalized Weyl's theorem , a-Weyl's theorem, property $(w)$, property $(gw)$ and generalized a-Weyl's theorem holds for $f(d_{AB})$ for every $f \in H(\sigma(d_{AB})$, where $ d_{AB}$ denote the generalized derivation $\delta_{AB}:B(\mathcal{H})\rightarrow B(\mathcal{H})$ defined by $\delta_{AB}(X)=AX-XB$ or the elementary operator $\Delta_{AB}:B(\mathcal{H})\rightarrow B(\mathcal{H})$ defined by $\Delta_{AB}(X)=AXB-X$.
