The purpose of the research is developing a method to collect pasture ticks where their number is small. Materials and methods. The work was done in 2013–2016. The patent search was conducted according to the task and the search schedule. We found sufficient literature sources and protection documents on the investigated issue. Investigational studies were performed to design an instrument to collect pasture ticks. Results and discussion. A method was developed to collect pasture ticks where their number is small. In order to do this, an instrument was designed which had a cylinder shape and was covered with a cloth called a drag. A rod was placed through the cylinder axle, having its ends connected to each other with a cord to drag the cylinder on the grass. Cylinder rotation when dragged through the grass brings the cloth in contact with ticks without being displaced in relation to one another. A patent of the Russian Federation was obtained under number No. 2544088 “Method for Collecting Ticks”.

The purpose of this work is to collect, analyze and generalize information on the operation of river dock-caissons. Currently, dock-caissons are rarely built despite their advantages. However, ship-lifting structures do not lose their relevance. The paper analyzes the constructed dock-boxes intended for caissoning the ends of passenger and cargo ships and docking of small vessels, namely, their fundamental design, analysis of hulls, systems and devices, as well as supporting structures on the slipway-deck, identified the main problems and search their decisions. A patent search was carried out on this topic and the most successful solutions were identified. The results of the work are generalized information about the operation of dock-boxes and allow to optimize further design, construction and operation of dock-boxes, taking into account the accumulated experience, and also allows to avoid mistakes that were made earlier. As a result of this work, some aspects of the operation of the ship-lifting structures were identified that were not taken into account in the design

Background: The arch trestle allows using two working surfaces: internal (under the arch) and external (over the arch) which may be used for moving of the transport pods. Transport pods include magnetic field sources, and the trestle is equipped with a stator winding. The stator winding is subdivided into the accelerating winding and suspension and levitation winding. As an option, the winding providing levitation can be replaced with permanent magnets. Aim: to show capacities of the arch trestle for transportation of passengers and goods. Methods: patent search, modeling. Results: simultaneous transportation of goods and passengers is possible both in the same and opposite directions. Conclusion: the efficiency of the transport system increases due to bilateral movement of modules.
