At first, I would like to thank the authors for giving the detailed survey on the current state of stochastic orderings of order statistics from heterogeneous populations. Their review illustrates the fast development of research in this area during the recent years, in particular including many important contributions by the authors themselves. Besides the concrete open problems given in the different sections of the review, the following general topics may be also of interest for further studies.

Abstract Sequential order statistics can be used to describe the ordered lifetimes of components of a system when the failure of a component may affect the reliability of the remaining components. After a reliability system consisting of n components fails, some of its components may still be alive. In this paper we first establish some univariate stochastic orderings and ageing properties of the residual lifetimes of the live components in a sequential (n-r+1)-out-of-n system. We also obtain a characterizing result for the exponential distribution based on uncorrelated residual lifetimes of live components. Finally, we provide some sufficient conditions for comparing vectors of residual lifetimes of the live components from two sequential (n-r+1)-out-of-n systems. The results established here extend some well-known results in the literature.

<div style="text-align: justify;">Thin film solar cell experience fast development, especially for thin film solar cell CdTe and Cu(In,Ga)Se2 (CIGS). However, the usage of rare element in the nature such as In, Te, and Ga and toxic such as Cd give limitation in the future development and production growth in big scale. Development of other alternative compound with maintain the profit of electronic and optic character which get from CIGS chalcopyrite compound will be explain. Compound of Cu2ZnSnSe4 (CZTSe) is downward compound from CIGS with substitute the In and Ga element with Zn and Sn. The compound kesterite structure can be modified with variation of chalcogen element to get wanted character in solar cell application. Efficiency record of photovoltaic devices conversion used this compound or downward reach 9.7%.©2016 JNSMR UIN Walisongo. All rights reserved.</div>

In this chapter, the authors discuss the main outcomes from both the most recent literature and the research activities summarized in this book. Of course, a complete review is not possible. It is evident that each issue related to face recognition in adverse conditions can be considered as a research topic in itself and would deserve a detailed survey of its own. However, it is interesting to provide a compass to orient one in the presently achieved results in order to identify open problems and promising research lines. In particular, the final chapter provides more detailed considerations about possible future developments.

Content-based routing is a form of data delivery whereby the flow of messages is driven by their content rather than the IP address of their destination. With the recognition of XML as the standard for data exchange, specialized XML routing services become necessary. In this chapter, the authors first demonstrate the relevance of such systems by presenting different world application scenarios where XML routing systems are needed and/or employed. Then, they present a survey of the current state of the art. Lastly, they attempt to identify issues and problems that have yet to be investigated. Their discussion will help identify open problems and issues and suggest directions for further research in the context of such systems.
