We present an alternative synthesis route to achieve larger Cu2ZnSnSe4 nanoparticles with targeted S/Se-ratios, by introducing selenium in the liquid phase – as liquid selenization!

In this study, a novel and facile hot injection method for the synthesis of single phase CuSbSe2 crystallites was developed by using low toxic triethylene glycol as both the solvent and reducing agent and triethylenetetramine as co-reducing agent.

The emission and excitation spectra of the GaP NCs indicate that two transitions, near the direct and indirect bandgaps of bulk GaP, are responsible for the luminescence.
