This paper introduces the structure of the existing on-line monitoring system, and analyzes the problems of poor compatibility and reliability of IED in different manufacturers. Then it gives two ways to transform the on-line monitoring system of substation equipment to the Internet of things, which is to retain IED and to remove IED. On this basis, this paper introduces the application scenarios of the on-line monitoring system of substation equipment connected to the Internet of things, including accurate perception of equipment status, accurate evaluation of equipment status and intelligent research and judgment of equipment status.

In order to improve the stability of the electrical control system, based on the Internet of Things technology, this paper constructs an online monitoring system for electrical control based on the Internet of Things. Based on actual needs, communication requirements, and common communication methods in the remote monitoring system, this paper combines the requirements of actual remote communication to conduct a detailed comparative analysis of the principles, performance characteristics, reliability, cost, maintenance, and other aspects of various communication methods, proposes a plan that can meet the communication requirements of the system, and completes the design of the wireless linear link communication network. In addition, according to the three-tier architecture of the Internet of Things, this paper comprehensively uses the technologies related to the Internet of Things to design and develop the perception layer, transmission layer, and application layer. Finally, this paper designs experiments to test the performance of the system constructed in this paper. The research results show that the online monitoring system based on the Internet of Things constructed in this paper meets the needs of intelligent monitoring of the electrical control system.

In order to develop a new convenient online monitoring system for Internet of things, an online monitoring system based on cloud computing is designed. The performance of this new Internet of things technology used in modern agricultural is test by Amazon relational database service (RDS) and ZigBee perception network. By analyzing the Internet of things related technologies and agricultural modernization, the integration framework of the Internet of things, cloud computing and data mining technology in the field of modern agriculture are proposed. Through the modern agricultural Internet of things monitoring system, the Internet of things intelligent gateway, cloud based research and construction of large data analysis and data mining projects are verified. The experimental results show that the relevant parameters of the model are obtained by training about 70% of the original data after adopting the cloud computing. Based on the above finding, it is concluded that the open Internet of things platform needs to be supported by the powerful computing resources. In addition, the cloud computing technology is suitable for the development of the Internet of things service platform.

Changes in temperature, pH, and turbidity in concrete fish ponds greatly impact to the fish survival. Initial observations showed that among 3.067 fish seeds, 1.633 fish (53%) died and only 1.434 fish (47%) was successfully harvested. The application of water quality monitoring devices from concrete pools designed based on the Internet of Things technology has been tested. The monitoring equipment will not function optimally without an application that functions to receive monitoring data and then take action. Pool water quality monitoring equipment connected to the cloud using a GSM network connection. The recorded data is then displayed on the water quality monitoring application that designed using the Android operating system. Application design is developed using a User-Centered Design approach, where the design process was carried out by considering several variables: ease for use, clarity of information delivery, the fulfillment of needs, and appearance. Based on the results of the design evaluation, weaknesses can be determined, namely, difficulty to find the search menu for click history data, find the refresh button, read the results of searching for historical data, and read data in tables and graphs. Based on this, further improvements can be made to improve the application being made. The monitoring equipment is expected to provide information to pond managers to immediately take action if changing in pH and temperature beyond the limit so that the fish mortality rate can be minimized.
