International student mobility and graduate employability are interdependently related as two key objectives of the Bologna Process. Although studies widely acknowledge that student mobility enhances the employability of international graduates, in particular cases there remain factors that may pose challenges that will be difficult to overcome. In this article, the authors consider the case of foreign (Italian) physiotherapy graduates who cannot acquire a professional qualification in the Republic of Slovenia which they can take back to their own country because of the legislative stipulation regarding a knowledge of the Slovene language for professional examination purposes. The authors begin by discussing student mobility policies and practices in Slovenian higher education. They then first address the (improper) implementation of Directive 55/2013/EU (concerning the recognition of professional qualifications in European Union Member States) in the national legislation and subsequently discuss the broader and related issue of the language of instruction in Slovenian higher education. In this context, they reflect on a present reality of the European Higher Education Area which stems from inconsistent national legislative efforts. Methodologically, the research is based primarily on the analysis of various documentary sources supported by quantitative and qualitative evidence.

Actual issues of globalization and internationalization of education in the construction sector are posed in the article. The authors state the fact that the ongoing processes, in particular, the deterioration of the environmental situation on the planet, the negative effects of climate change require unified approaches to the formation of the content of building education and learning outcomes in the form of certain competencies: knowledge, skills. A review of scientific articles in the field of internationalization of building education is given in the article. Among them are articles offering new approaches to integrate building education with environmental and climate education; new teaching methods using digital technologies and 3D virtual learning environments. The authors conducted a sociological survey of employers and revealed a lack of practical knowledge among graduates of construction universities in Russia, meanwhile, construction education in European universities and US universities is becoming more practical, ecological and climate disciplines are including in the curriculum for training civil engineers. Authors' conclusion: special attention in building education should be paid to 1) the development of student mobility, the exchange of curricula and disciplines between universities; 2) strengthening the ecological and climatic component of construction education; 3) the development of joint scientific and educational international projects in the field of construction. The only measure of the quality of construction specialists is the learning outcomes that satisfy the modern requirements.

One of the aims of the Bologna Process was to challenge national borders in higher education. Morocco was one of the countries that joined this ambitious process by adopting the three-cycle degree structure (LMD) to lower barriers to student mobility. The purpose of this contribution is to investigate whether the students who are in the context of mobility are equipped with the necessary skills to live such experience. This research will present the first results of an exploratory study conducted on some Moroccan students in Italy and other students of different nationalities studying at Mohammed V University in Rabat. Some students when arriving in the host country are forced to manage, not only their new university life, but also their daily and social life. So how can they be helped in developing the necessary skills that promote integration? How can they be prepared and accompanied before, during and after their mobility?

In this paper, student mobility is observed as one of the steps in realization of the Digital Agenda of the European Union. Student mobility, as one of the main principles of the Bologna process, is the means of effectiveness increase and quality of the educational system in European Higher Education Area, EHEA, because it enables better exchange and flow of knowledge and ideas, as well as the adoption of good practices. Management Identity (IdM) system of the Higher Educational institution is a system which supports student mobility by using personal information when accessing data. The basic identity document in this system is a student smart card with the owner’s fingerprint. This biometrical data insures high level of data and identity protection. This paper proposes informational system which, in itself, contains standards for student mobility support as one of the modules of the IdM system of the Higher Educational institution.
