Introduction In present days, the use of information technology (IT) in education is unquestionable. The mounting advancement of IT has changed the scenario of education. With the emergence of the current COVID-19 situation, it has undoubtedly provided a solution to most of our educational needs when all educational institutions remained closed due to the pandemic. This study aims to identify the nursing students’ attitude towards the practice of e-learning amidst COVID-19. Methods A descriptive web-based cross-sectional study was conducted among nursing students with a sample size of 470. A self-administered validated questionnaire along with a standard tool to measure the attitude was used for data collection. Data were analyzed using SPSS. Results The mean ± SD age of the respondents was 20.91± 1.55 years. The majority (76.4%) of the respondents used mobile for their study and 90.4% used Wi-Fi for the internet source. The main advantage of e-learning was stated as the ability to stay at home (72.1%) followed by the reduced cost of accommodation and transport (51.3%) whereas the internet problem (81.7%) was the major disadvantage followed by technical issues (65.5%). Only about 34% of the students found e-learning as effective as traditional face-to-face learning. The mean scores for the domains: perceived usefulness, intention to adapt, distant use of e-learning, ease of learning, technical support, and learning stressors were 3.1, 3.1, 3.8, 2.9, 2.9, and 2.5 respectively. Overall, 58.9% had a favorable attitude regarding e-learning. There was no significant association of overall attitude regarding e-learning with selected socio-demographic variables whereas it was positively associated with all of its six domains. All the domains were positively correlated with each other except for ease of learning with technical support and distant use, and technical support with learning stressor and distant use. Learning stressor versus distant use was negatively correlated with each other. Conclusion Though e-learning was implemented as a substitute during the pandemic, almost half of the nursing students showed a positive attitude regarding e-learning. The majority of the students had internet problems and technological issues. If e-learning can be made user-friendly with reduced technical barriers supplemented with programs that can enhance practical learning abilities, e-learning can be the vital alternative teaching method and learning in the nursing field.

Abstrak: Keberhasilan dari penerapan teknologi tidak lepas dari pada faktor penggunanya. Bagaimana sikap dari pengguna terhadap penerapan suatu teknologi yang ada. Model TAM merupakan metode pendekatan untuk mengetahui bagaimana sikap dari pengguna terhadap suatu teknologi. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh sikap dari pengguna terhadap penerapan e-learning di SMK Negeri 4 Kota Sorong. Sikap pengguna didasarkan pada variabel persepsi kemanfaatan dan kemudahan penggunaan yang ada pada model TAM. Penelitian melibatkan 61 siswa jurusan TKJ di SMK Negeri 4 Kota Sorong sebagai responden. Data didapat dari penyebaran kuesioner menggunakan google form. Pengolahan data menggunakan software SPSS dilakukan dengan uji validitas dan reliabilitas. Kemudian dilakukan Analisa data dengan uji t dan uji F untuk mengetahui hasil. Hasilnya didapat adalah dari persepsi kemudahan pengguna dan persepsi kemanfaatan berpengaruh positif terhadap penerimaan e-learning di SMK Negeri 4 Kota Sorong.   Kata kunci: e-learning, persepsi kebermanfaatan, persepsi kemudahan penggunaan, penerimaan sistem, TAM.   Abstract: The success of the implementation of technology cannot be separated from the user factor. How is the user's attitude towards the application of an existing technology. The TAM model is a method approach to see how the attitudes of users towards a technology. The purpose of this study was to see the effect of user attitudes on the application of e-learning in SMK Negeri 4 Kota Sorong. Based on the perceived usefulness and perceived ease of use variables of the TAM model. The respondent are 61 students of SMK Negeri 4 Kota Sorong majoring in computer and network engineering (TKJ). Data obtained from distributing questionnaires using google forms. Data processing using SPSS software by performing validity tests, realibility tests. Then do data analysis with t test and F test to see the results. The results show that the perceived ease of use and perceived usefulness has a positive effect on the acceptance of e-learning at SMK Negeri 4 Kota Sorong.   Keywords: e-learning, perceived usefulness, perceived ease of use, system acceptance, TAM.

Background Engaging students in the e-learning development process enhances the effective implementation of e-learning, however, students’ priority on the topics for e-learning may differ from that of the educators. This study aims to compare the differences between the students and their educators in prioritising the topics in three healthcare curricula for reusable e-learning object (RLO) development. Method A modified Delphi study was conducted among students and educators from University Malaya (UM), Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM) and Taylor’s University (TU) on three undergraduate programmes. In Round 1, participants were asked to select the topics from the respective syllabi to be developed into RLOs. Priority ranking was determined by using frequencies and proportions. The first quartile of the prioritised topics was included in Round 2 survey, which the participants were asked to rate the level of priority of each topic using a 5-point Likert scale. The mean score of the topics was compared between students and educators. Result A total of 43 educators and 377 students participated in this study. For UM and TU Pharmacy, there was a mismatch in the prioritised topics between the students and educators. For UPM, both the educators and students have prioritised the same topics in both rounds. To harmonise the prioritisation of topics between students and educators for UM and TU Pharmacy, the topics with a higher mean score by both the students and educators were prioritised. Conclusion The mismatch in prioritised topics between students and educators uncovered factors that might influence the prioritisation process. This study highlighted the importance of conducting needs assessment at the beginning of eLearning resources development.

PurposeThe concept of e-learning is essential in employee education since it provides different ways to develop employees' knowledge, skills and attitudes using modern technologies. E-learning has been overgrowing in employee education because learning can be held anytime and anywhere. In order to succeed in implementing e-learning and benefiting from its capacities, and avoiding potential threats in the country, it is necessary to address the factors affecting its success. This paper aims to test the role of internet of Things (IoT)-based systems, cloud-based services, virtual classes, evaluation tools, attitude, content management and creativity on the success of employees' e-learning programs based on a framework.Design/methodology/approachE-learning systems receive ever-increasing attention in academia, business and public administration. With the development of e-learning, employee education has also benefited from its capacities in various fields. To succeed in implementing e-learning and benefiting from its capacities, and avoiding potential threats in the country, it is necessary to address its success. The proposing of Information and Communications Technology (ICT)-based technologies such as the IoT, cloud, etc., in e-learning, can help transform education. Therefore, this paper aims to test the role of IoT-based systems, cloud-based services, virtual classes, evaluation tools, attitude, content management and creativity on the success of employees' e-learning programs based on a framework. The research model and the data collected from the questionnaires have been analyzed via Smart PLS 3.2. This study has utilized the SEM to evaluate the causal model's reliability and validity based on measurement. According to the literature in this study, a framework has been proposed that examines the impact of IoT-based systems, cloud-based services, virtual classes, evaluation tools, attitude, content management and creativity on employees' learning programs' success.FindingsThe results have shown that IoT-based systems, cloud-based services, virtual classes and evaluation tools are four significant factors affecting attitude, content management and creativity. The results have also shown that attitude, content management and creativity are three significant factors affecting employees' learning programs' success. The factors above are considered critical in explaining the success of employees' e-learning programs, but, as far as we know, there has been no study in which all these factors were demonstrated together.Practical implicationsFrom a practical viewpoint, the statistical outcomes support the important role of the following factors: IoT-based systems, cloud-based services, virtual classes, evaluation tools, attitude, content management and creativity. Henceforth, aspects relating to these factors got the attention of any organization to develop e-learning processes.Originality/valueThis research will contribute to the literature related to employees' e-learning programs' success by integrating all the mentioned variables. As far as we know, it is the first study to test these variables in Iran.

Technology and covid-19 pandemic has become the main trigger for implementation of distance learning in Basic Training Civil Servants at BSSN. E-learning has many differences compared to the conventional methods that were applied previously. We hoped e-learning activities running well so they can achieve the learning objectives. This study seeks to reveal an overview of the effectiveness of e-learning Basic Training Civil Servants. The method used in this research is descriptive research. Data collection was carried out by observation, interview and literature study methods. Interviews were conducted with managers, administrators, teachers and training participants. Based on the research, the results is e-learning Basic Training Civil Servants run effectively. This can be seen from the data that shows that learning has succeeded in achieving the set instructional goals, is able to provide an attractive learning experience, is able to actively involve participants, and the facilities that support the teaching and learning process are fulfilled properly. In addition, it was also found that synchronous model was more attractive to participants than asynchronous. Participants feel that synchronous model can help them focus more and increase motivation when learning. To improve the implementation of online learning in the future, it is suggested to increase synchronous method and delivery  material through gamification application to make leraning more interesting
