To share the loads and restrain circumfluence among parallel inverters in Stand- alone photovoltaic system (PV), it is described that a digital current sharing control technique for inverter parallel operation in detail in this paper. After the analysis of circumfluence of paralleled system on distributed-logical-control, characteristic of the power regulation, a novel digital power detection technique is deduced. With measuring and analyzing the instantaneous average current of all inverters and the output current of each inverter, both of the current components are used to control and regulate the amplitude and the phase of the output voltage. The proposed control technique on current sharing in the inverter paralleling system has been verified the good characteristic of restraining circumfluence by the results of the experiment.

Abstract This paper addresses a viable single loop PID controller on the bases of optimization algorithms for parallelly connected DC-DC converters to improve current sharing, improve the systems dynamics and guarantee good steady-state performance simultaneously. Because of inconvenience and lack of accuracy of Ziegler-Nichols rule in tuning PID controller parameters, an optimized controller design strategy with the purpose of enhancing the system performance is introduced in this paper. The PID is tuned by the traditional Ziegler -Nichols technique along with three other different algorithms: Genetic algorithm, whale algorithm and grey wolf algorithm. A comparison has been established between these algorithms based on the objective function value, execution time, overshoot, settling time and current sharing. The simulation results were collected to authenticate effectiveness of the proposed techniques and to evaluate the advantages of these optimization algorithms over the traditional tuning method.

Fossil fuels reserves are decreasing in a rapid pace due to more power consumption. Advancement of technology, usage of electrical equipments and increase in population are the main reasons for energy consumption. In order to meet the energy demand and to sustain the environment depending on non-conventional sources of energy is inevitable. Solar energy is the clean energy source which is naturally available in abundant and does not contribute to green house gases. The energy from the sun is directly converted into the electricity by using photovoltaic (PV) cells without using any intermediate steps. Solar charge controller is connected to the PV system for regulating the voltage and current coming from PV panel and to prevent overcharging of battery thereby increasing the life of battery. PID controller is used to obtain the desired voltage and for constant recharging of lead-acid battery. This paper addresses the modeling and simulation of Photovoltaic system under Maximum power Point Tracking (MPPT) condition and design of Buck converter with PID controller for constant charging of battery.
