Protoventuria tetraspora. [Descriptions of Fungi and Bacteria].
Abstract A description is provided for Protoventuria tetraspora, which is apparently a very mild parasite on moribund leaves, later saprobic on dead leaves and stems. Some information on its habitats, dispersal and transmission and conservation status is given, along with details of its geographical distribution (Europe (Norway, Sweden, UK)) and hosts (Erica tetralix). No reports of negative economic impacts of this fungus have been found.
