In this paper, we shall be concerned with the existence and uniqueness of solution to three- point boundary value problems associated with a system of first order matrix difference system. Shortest and Closest Lattice vector methods are used as a tool to obtain the best least square solution of the  three-point boundary value problems when  the characteristic matrix D is rectangular. This paper presents a novel abnormal data detecting algorithm based on the first order difference method, which could be used to find out outlier in building energy consumption platform real time. The principle and criterion of methodology are discussed in detail. The results show that outlier in cumulative power consumption could be detected by our method.
