The unit cell contains eight molecules of the title compound, with half a water molecule per main molecule, C23H20N2·0.5H2O. The seven-membered diazepine ring adopts a twist-boat conformation and makes dihedral angles of 85.08 (7) and 32.79 (7)° with the phenyl and styryl substituents, respectively. In the crystal, the organic molecules are linked by C—H...N hydrogen bonds into chains running along the b-axis direction. The water molecule, located on a twofold rotation axis, forms hydrogen bridges, connecting two adjacent chains.

In the title compound, C24H27N5O2S·0.5H2O, the piperidine ring adopts a distorted boat conformation. The phenyl rings subtend dihedral angles of 69.7 (1) and 88.7 (1)° with the best plane through the piperidine moiety. In the crystal, symmetry-related molecules are linked through a network of C—H...O and C—H...N interactions, the former connecting them into zigzag chains along thec-axis direction and the latter forming anR22(4)motif. The dimer formation (C—H...N) and the repetition of symmetry-related molecules (C—H...O) along theb-axis direction stabilize the packing mode. The water molecule is located on a twofold rotation axis.

The title compound, C15H26O2, was synthesized from β-himachalene (3,5,5,9-tetramethyl-2,4a,5,6,7,8-hexahydro-1H-benzocycloheptene), which was isolated from the Atlas cedar (cedrus atlantica). The molecule is built up from a seven-membered ring to which a six- and a three-membered ring are fused. The seven- and six-membered rings each have a twist-boat conformation. In the crystal, O—H...O hydrogen bonds link the molecules into zigzag chains running along theb-axis direction.

In the octahydroxanthenedione unit of the title compound, C31H27NO6, the central dihydropyran ring shows an envelope conformation, while the bilateral cyclohexene and cyclohexane rings adopt a half-boat conformation and a chair conformation, respectively. The nitrobenzene ring is twisted with respect to the two benzene rings, making dihedral angles of 63.1 (1) and 63.0 (1)°. In the crystal, O—H...O hydrogen bonds link the molecules into supramolecular chains propagating along thea-axis direction.

In the title compound, C19H21N3O5S·H2O, the central indazole system is essentially planar (r.m.s. deviation = 0.012 Å), while both the benzene ring and the mean plane defined by the non-H atoms of the ethyl propionic ester unit (r.m.s. deviation = 0.087 Å) are nearly perpendicular to the indazole plane, as indicated by the dihedral angles of 82.45 (8) and 75.62 (8)°, respectively. Consequently, the molecule adopts a U-shaped geometry. In the crystal, the water molecule, which is linked to the indazole system by a strong O—H...N hydrogen bond, is also involved in two additional N—H...O and O—H...O interactions, which link the organic molecules into chains along theb-axis direction.

In the title compound, C21H23N3O7, the pyrimidinedione ring adopts a screw-boat conformation, whereas the cyclohexenone ring adopts an envelope conformation, with the C atom bearing the methyl groups as the flap atom. The dihedral angle between the mean planes of the pyrimidinedione and cyclohexenone rings is 58.78 (2)°. The pyrimidinedione and cyclohexenone rings form dihedral angles of 59.94 (3) and 54.73 (2)°, respectively, with the 4-nitrophenyl ring. Relatively strong intramolecular O—H...O hydrogen bonds are observed. In the crystal, molecules are linked by C—H...O hydrogen bonds, forming a chain along thec-axis direction.

In the title compound, C30H25N3O3, the central imidazole ring forms dihedral angles of 77.34 (6), 12.56 (6) and 87.04 (6)°, respectively, with theo-nitrobenzene ring and the phenyl substituents in the 5- and 4-positions. The molecular conformation is stabilized by weak intramolecular C—H...π interactions. In the crystal, molecules are linked by O—H...N hydrogen bonds, forming chains running parallel to theb-axis direction.

In the title compound, C13H10FNO, the benzene ring planes are inclined at an angle of 50.52 (8)°. A characteristic of aromatic Schiff bases withN-aryl substituents is that the terminal phenyl rings are twisted relative to the plane of the HC=N link between them. In this case, the HC=N unit makes dihedral angles of 10.6 (2) and 40.5 (2)° with the hydroxybenzene and flurobenzene rings, respectively. In the crystal, O—H...N and C—H...F hydrogen bonds lead to the formation of chains along thec-andb-axis directions, respectively. C—H...π contacts link molecules alongaand these contacts combine to generate a three-dimensional network with molecules stacked along theb-axis direction.

In the title compound, [K2(C8H6N3O2)2(H2O)]n, each K+ion is seven-coordinated by one O atom from a bridging water molecule, five carboxylate O atoms and one N atom from a benzotriazole group, forming a distorted mono-capped octahedral geometry. In the crystal, the carboxylate groups act as bridging ligands, forming a two-dimensional polymer parallel to (001). The aqua ligand, which lies on a twofold rotation axis, forms intermolecular O—H...O hydrogen bonds within these layers.

In the title compound, a cyclooctene ring in a twist-boat conformation and a dioxolane ring with a distorted envelope conformation are annulated in a trans configuration. Alternating strands of single enantiomers build up the crystal. Within the strands, the molecules are connected by weak C—H...O hydrogen bonds.
