Fault diagnosis of train bearing is an important method to ensure the security of railway. In the paper, four time domain statistical analysis methods and resonance demodulation method as a frequency domain analysis method are introduced. A state inspection and fault diagnosis system of train axel box bearing is constructed and its efficiency is also tested by wheel set experiment.

A fault diagnosis system based on the Client/Server mode is developed, which realizes the purpose of diagnosing the Telemetry Equipment placing on the station address through local or IP network. And the fault method uses the fault tree to describe the logic relation between fault nodes. And the fault tree is realized by virtual instrument. The signal acquisition module uses PXI architecture, the interactive user interface is develops under LabVIEW graphical software and the data storage uses SQL server database platform. The developed fault diagnosis system can realize the functions of information management on instrument and fault node, fault detection or location, and device remote control. Now this system is used in test area, which improves the telemetry equipment maintenance rate.

According to the requirement of fault diagnosis of wind-driven generator, proposed private solutions of fault diagnosis system for large wind-driven generator, developed signal processing and fault diagnosis software based on LabVIEW, designed and produced a prototype of fault diagnosis system, simulated on the fault diagnosis of simulation test bench, verified the feasibility and effectiveness of the fault diagnosis system.
