The development of Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) technology is widely used to monitor pallets, cases or individual items in industrial manufacturing fields. However, this method was implemented only at the warehouse where it captured raw materials that need to undergo with manufacturing process until it becomes products but it was not monitor during the process in production line. Our proposed is to build the RFID system that can capture real-time data and monitoring during the entire production work flow where the transmission, tracing, storage and retrieval of overall process can be done.  This technology is associate with unique electronic identity that are embedded to raw materials throughout the manufacturing cycle where it was registered to the RFID reader at every workstation so that the information for the start and end at each job can be transmitted to the main server at real-time for storage, categorizing, tracing, processing and analyzing. By these technology systems, we can promptly update of production-line information with real-time visibility of the whole work in progress production management among offices and sites in a construction supply chain environment.

An alibi is a priceless thing that someone can rely on when in needs. A good data management can and will save someone life in respond to any unwanted situation.A simple, accurate and trustworthy data log for students in boarding school can and will help ease parent-teacher monitoring system. However, the conventional system require student to manually inform and record their log to their parents and teachers. The system is lacks of automation where a number of problem may arise. The problem includes the inaccurate logging time, misplace of outing card and an unorganized log record. Web-Based Boarding School Monitoring System (WEBMOS) Using MySQL Database and RFID Technology were invented to solve this problem. This technology offered a system that can record student log data in an accurate manner. The aim is to build a system that can provide the accurate data to parent and teacher via a single click through their personal device. This system uses RFID module technology to monitor the student’s logs activity in real time manner. The monitoring system involve the utilization of Arduino Mega, Ethernet Shield, Global System for Mobile communication (GSM) and Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) Module. The system performs an automated data log after the student flashed their card to RFID reader, the data is uploaded to database after the card being flashed and the uploaded information can be view at the webpage at anywhere and anytime. Thus, thesystem is capable of collecting and recording aprecise real time data logging for student’s activity.

The use of Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) has grown substantially in the past few years. Driven mostly by the retail supply chain management industry and by inventory control (loss prevention), RFID technology is finding more acceptance in the security and personal tracking sectors beyond simple pass cards. This growth has of course resulted in greater acceptance of RFID technology and more standardization of process and systems as well as decreased per unit costs. The oil and gas industry is being exposed to the potential use of RFID technology, mostly through the safety and equipment inspection portion of construction management. However, the application of RFID technology is expected to expand to the material tracking and asset management realms in the near future. Integrating the information provided by RFIDs with EPCM project and owner/operator Geographic Information Systems (GIS) is a logical next step towards maximizing the value of RFID technology. By linking assets tracked in the field during movement, lay-down and construction to a GIS, projects will have accurate, real-time data on the location of materials as well as be able to query about those assets after commissioning. This same capability is being modified for post-commission use of RFID with facility GISs. This paper outlines how existing GISs used during the EPCM phases and those employed after commissioning can display, utilize and analyze information provided by RFID technology.

Real time data acquisition and evaluation are required to save lives. Such data with utilization and application of the latest technologies in hospitals around the world can improve patient treatments and well beings. The delivery of patient's medical data needs to be secure. Secure and accurate real time data acquisition and analysis of patient data and the ability to update such data will assist in reducing cost while improving patient's care. A wireless framework based on radio frequency identification (RFID) can integrate wireless networks for fast data acquisition and transmission, while maintaining the privacy issue. This chapter discusses the development of a framework that can be considered for secure patient data collection and communications in a hospital environment. A new method for data classification and access authorization has also been developed, which will assist in preserving privacy and security of data. Several Case studies are offered to show the effectiveness of this framework.

The system presented in this article has been developed in order to solve several problems occurred during uploading raw materials in the storage tanks of a dry mix mortars plant and to keep an accurate material balance of raw materials introduced in the production process. The proposed approach was to implement a UHF, RFID (Ultra High Frequency, Radio Frequency Identification Device) system consisting of tags on the intake of the uploading pipes and outlets of the transportation trucks and a UHF, RFID Writer/Reader with four antennas in the proximity of uploading and to create an associate database for tracking the uploaded materials. The newly developed system has been successfully operationally tested in a dry mix mortar plant nearby Ploiesti.

A radio frequency identification (RFID) has obtained increasing attention with the emergence of various applications. This study aims to examine the implementation of rule based expert system supported by RFID technology into a monitoring information system of drug supply in a hospital. This research facilitates in monitoring the real time drug supply by using data sample from the hospital pharmacy. This system able to identify and count the number of drug and provide warning and report in real time. the conclusion is the rule based expert system and RFID technology can facilitate the performance in monitoring the drug supply quickly and precisely.
