Primary hyperparathyroidism in children and adolescents is rare and often symptomatic at presentation. A 15-year-old boy presented with bilateral genu valgum for two years. Biochemical results were consistent with primary hyperparathyroidism. Calcium levels normalized two months after removal of a left inferior parathyroid adenoma.

Obturator hernia is a rare pelvic hernia which accounts for 1% of all abdominal hernia. Clinical manifestation is ussually unspecific. Obturator hernia is often diagnosed by computed tomography or ultrasound. We present a case of obturator hernia in an elderly women who was successfully diagnosed and treated at Hue Univeristy of Medicine and Pharmacy.
