We collect some results on endomorphisms on projective varieties related to the Kawaguchi–Silverman conjecture. We discuss certain conditions on automorphism groups of projective varieties and positivity conditions on leading real eigendivisors of self-morphisms. We prove Kawaguchi–Silverman conjecture for endomorphisms on projective bundles on a smooth Fano variety of Picard number one. In the last section, we discuss endomorphisms and augmented base loci of their eigendivisors.

In the present work we describe 3-dimensional complexSL2-varieties where the genericSL2-orbit is a surface. We apply this result to classify the minimal 3-dimensional projective varieties with Picard-number 1 where a semisimple group acts such that the generic orbits are 2-dimensional.This is an ingredient of the classification [Keb99] of the 3-dimensional relatively minimal quasihomogeneous varieties where the automorphism group is not solvable.

In our previous paper we suggested a conjecture relating the structure of the small quantum cohomology ring of a smooth Fano variety of Picard number 1 to the structure of its derived category of coherent sheaves. Here we generalize this conjecture, make it more precise, and support it by the examples of (co)adjoint homogeneous varieties of simple algebraic groups of Dynkin types $\mathrm {A}_n$ and $\mathrm {D}_n$ , that is, flag varieties $\operatorname {Fl}(1,n;n+1)$ and isotropic orthogonal Grassmannians $\operatorname {OG}(2,2n)$ ; in particular, we construct on each of those an exceptional collection invariant with respect to the entire automorphism group. For $\operatorname {OG}(2,2n)$ this is the first exceptional collection proved to be full.

AbstractFix $n\geq 5$ general points $p_1, \dots , p_n\in{\mathbb{P}}^1$ and a weight vector ${\mathcal{A}} = (a_{1}, \dots , a_{n})$ of real numbers $0 \leq a_{i} \leq 1$. Consider the moduli space $\mathcal{M}_{{\mathcal{A}}}$ parametrizing rank two parabolic vector bundles with trivial determinant on $\big ({\mathbb{P}}^1, p_1,\dots , p_n\big )$ that are semistable with respect to ${\mathcal{A}}$. Under some conditions on the weights, we determine and give a modular interpretation for the automorphism group of the moduli space $\mathcal{M}_{{\mathcal{A}}}$. It is isomorphic to $\left (\frac{\mathbb{Z}}{2\mathbb{Z}}\right )^{k}$ for some $k\in \{0,\dots , n-1\}$ and is generated by admissible elementary transformations of parabolic vector bundles. The largest of these automorphism groups, with $k=n-1$, occurs for the central weight ${\mathcal{A}}_{F}= \left (\frac{1}{2},\dots ,\frac{1}{2}\right )$. The corresponding moduli space ${\mathcal M}_{{\mathcal{A}}_F}$ is a Fano variety of dimension $n-3$, which is smooth if $n$ is odd, and has isolated singularities if $n$ is even.

It has been recently shown by Meng and Zhang that the full automorphism group [Formula: see text] is a Jordan group for all projective varieties in arbitrary dimensions. The aim of this paper is to show that the full automorphism group [Formula: see text] is, in fact, a Jordan group even for all normal compact Kähler varieties in arbitrary dimensions. The meromorphic structure of the identity component of the automorphism group and its Rosenlicht-type decomposition play crucial roles in the proof.

AbstractLet X be a normal projective variety defined over an algebraically closed field and let Z be a subvariety. Let D be an ${\mathbb R}$-Cartier ${\mathbb R}$-divisor on X. Given an expression (*) D$\sim_{\mathbb R}$t1H1 +. . .+ tsHs with ti ∈ ${\mathbb R}$ and Hi very ample, we define the (*)-restricted volume of D to Z and we show that it coincides with the usual restricted volume when Z$\not\subseteq$B+(D). Then, using some recent results of Birkar [Bir], we generalise to ${\mathbb R}$-divisors the two main results of [BCL]: The first, proved for smooth complex projective varieties by Ein, Lazarsfeld, Mustaţă, Nakamaye and Popa, is the characterisation of B+(D) as the union of subvarieties on which the (*)-restricted volume vanishes; the second is that X − B+(D) is the largest open subset on which the Kodaira map defined by large and divisible (*)-multiples of D is an isomorphism.
