Information dissemination in agricultural sector for its growth using information and communication technology (ICT) as a tool is need of the hour. This can be achieved using information systems. ICT benefits are helpful in exchange and dissemination of information among farming stakeholders. By using the latest tool of mobile technology, farmers can get the current information related to their farming jobs around the clock and at any location, as the mobile network have touched every part/location of the India. Using the features of the mobile-phones like GPS etc. one can get the localized information. Only need is to structure the abundant information available across the various organizations. So, a mobile based agricultural information system framework ‘mAgIDS' has been proposed employing the hybrid mobile application architecture approach. Client-server architecture using the location Application Programming Interface (API) has been proposed. Inference mechanism of the system has implemented on the basis of improved fuzzy rule promotion technique.

Agricultural science performs a substantial function in monetary and societal growth in nearly all developing nations. Data on satisfactory excellence is an indispensable criterion for the development of all fields of farming. By means of the speedy growth of Information Technologies (ITs), data and information can be efficiently produced, warehoused, scrutinized, distributed, and utilized to reinforce agriculturalists and agricultural societies to enhance agricultural output and sustainability. Information facilities for agriculturalists at the nationwide and provincial levels are an auspicious novel field of investigation and presentation in the evolving field of e-agriculture. This paper aims to address the challenges associated with the dissemination of localized agricultural information to farmers within a localized region in Nigeria using mobile networks and explicitly examined the application of Information and Communication Technologies (ICTs) in disseminating agricultural information to farmers in Nigeria. Based on the findings of this study, it is recommended that the government should establish information centers with up-to-date information technology infrastructures and mini-community libraries in all rustic regions in Nigeria where modern agricultural information can be easily obtained by the farmers.

With the continuous improvement in technology, campus life and learning applications are becoming increasingly modernization, and the popularity of mobile networks makes mobile terminals (especially smart phones) work as the most important information form for college students. Taking advantages of Android platform’s features to achieve efficient and intelligent campus applications, not only can implement synchronization of information dissemination, as well as in-time, learning and life convenience, but also reduce the students’ dependence on computers, which makes interpersonal communication everywhere. This paper takes the campus dining application for example, to explore campus applications based on Android, thereby promoting the construction of campus information technology, and further enrich the local campus life and learning.
