Industrial control system (ICS) attacks are usually targeted attacks that use the ICS entry approach to get a foothold within a system and move laterally throughout the organization. In recent decades, powerful attacks such as Stuxnet, Duqu, Flame, and Havex have served as wake-up calls for industrial units. All organizations are faced with the rise of security challenges in technological innovations. This paper aims to develop aggregation operators that can be used to address the decision-making problems based on a spherical fuzzy rough environment. Meanwhile, some interesting properties of idempotence, boundedness, and monotonicity for the proposed operators are analyzed. Moreover, we use this newly constructed framework to select ICS security suppliers and validate its acceptability. Furthermore, a different test has been performed based on a new operator to strengthen the suggested approach. Additionally, comparative analysis based on the novel extended TOPSIS method is presented to demonstrate the superiority of the proposed technique. The results show that the conventional approach has a larger area for information representation, better adaptability to the evaluation environment, and higher reliability of the evaluation results.

This research article is devoted to establish some general aggregation operators, based on Yager’s t-norm and t-conorm, to cumulate the Fermatean fuzzy data in decision-making environments. The Fermatean fuzzy sets (FFSs), an extension of the orthopair fuzzy sets, are characterized by both membership degree (MD) and nonmembership degree (NMD) that enable them to serve as an excellent tool to represent inexact human opinions in the decision-making process. In this article, the valuable properties of the FFS are merged with the Yager operator to propose six new operators, namely, Fermatean fuzzy Yager weighted average (FFYWA), Fermatean fuzzy Yager ordered weighted average (FFYOWA), Fermatean fuzzy Yager hybrid weighted average (FFYHWA), Fermatean fuzzy Yager weighted geometric (FFYWG), Fermatean fuzzy Yager ordered weighted geometric (FFYOWG), and Fermatean fuzzy Yager hybrid weighted geometric (FFYHWG) operators. A comprehensive discussion is made to elaborate the dominant properties of the proposed operators. To verify the importance of the proposed operators, an MADM strategy is presented along with an application for selecting an authentic lab for the COVID-19 test. The superiorities of the proposed operators and limitations of the existing operators are discussed with the help of a comparative study. Moreover, we have explained comparison between the proposed theory and the Fermatean fuzzy TOPSIS method to check the accuracy and validity of the proposed operators. The influence of various values of the parameter in the Yager operator on decision-making results is also examined.

We develop a novel computation model of unbalanced linguistic variables on the basis of Archimedean copulas and corresponding co-copulas, which provides a new tool to aggregate unbalanced linguistic information. The properties of the proposed computational model are also studied. We present the concepts of weighted unbalanced Archimedean copula arithmetic aggregation operators and weighted unbalanced Archimedean copula geometric aggregation operators. The properties of these aggregation operators are further investigated. Finally, a group decision making of sensory evaluation is introduced to illustrate the feasibility and validity of our proposed computational model.

In this paper, the novel approach of complex T-spherical fuzzy sets (CTSFSs) and their operational laws are explored and also verified with the help of examples. CTSFS composes the grade of truth, abstinence, and falsity with a condition that the sum of q-power of the real part (also for imaginary part) of the truth, abstinence, and falsity grades cannot be exceeded from a unit interval. Additionally, to examine the interrelationships among the complex T-spherical fuzzy numbers (CTSFNs), we propose two aggregation operators, called complex T-spherical fuzzy weighted averaging (CTSFWA) and complex T-spherical fuzzy weighted geometric (CTSFWG) operators. A multi-attribute decision making (MADM) problem is resolved based on CTSFNs by using the proposed CTSFWA and CTSFWG operators. To examine the proficiency and reliability of the explored works, we use an example to make comparisons between the proposed operators and some existing operators. Based on the comparison results, the proposed CTSFWA and CTSFWG operators are well suited in the fuzzy environment with legitimacy and prevalence by contrasting other existing operators.

Banking has always played an important role in the economy because of its effects on individuals as well as on the economy. In the process of renovation and modernization of the country, the system of commercial banks has changed dramatically. Business models and services have become more diversified. Therefore, the performance of commercial banks is always attracting the attention of managers, supervisors, banks and customers. Bank ranking can be viewed as a multi-criteria decision model. This article uses the technique for order of preference by similarity to ideal solution (TOPSIS) method to rank some commercial banks in Vietnam.
