The distribution of Hyptis pseudolantana is documented in the states of Jalisco and Michoacán, species previously reported exclusively from the state of Guerrero, Mexico. An expanded description, distribution map and photographs are provided for it. Hyptis cualensis and H. macvaughii are also described and illustrated by photographs, as two new species from the Mexican states of Jalisco and Nayarit, respectively. Also, an identification key to species of tribe Hyptidinae in western Mexico is provided.

The previously monotypic genus Proxima DeLong & Freytag, 1975 is reviewed and new diagnostic characters are added. The type-species Proxima ocellata DeLong & Freytag, 1975 described from the State of Espírito Santo, Brazil, is redescribed and newly recorded from the State of Minas Gerais. Also, two new species are described and illustrated: Proxima nigromaculata sp. nov. from the states of Espírito Santo, Maranhão, Minas Gerais, Rio de Janeiro and Rio Grande do Sul and Proxima meloi sp. nov. from the states of Bahia and Minas Gerais. An identification key to the species of the genus is provided.

A new species, Calea arachnoidea, which belongs to Calea sect. Meyeria, is hereby described and illustrated. This species occurs in the Serra Negra region, located in the southern portion of the “Zona da Mata” in the state of Minas Gerais, southeastern Brazil. Calea arachnoidea resembles C. quadrifolia, C. heteropappa and C. semirii, and its relationships with these species are discussed and an identification key for the species of C. sect. Meyeria in the state of Minas Gerais is provided. Additionally, photographs, a distribution map, comments about habitat and conservation status are provided.

Two new species—Dinetus rakhimovi Mokrousov et Khedher, sp. nov. from Uzbekistan and Dinetus tunisiensis Khedher et Mokrousov, sp. nov. from Tunisia are described and illustrated. The total number of Dinetus is increased so to 14 species in the world. An identification key to all species is given.

Two new species of the genus Charinus are described from caves of Brazil: Charinus spelaeus sp. n., the fourth described species of the genus for the state of Minas Gerais, and Charinus santanensis sp. n., the sixth described species of the genus for the state of Bahia. Charinus spelaeus sp. n. has reduced median and lateral eyes, and is the sixth troglobitic Charinus described for Brazil. We present here an updated key and a distribution map for all the Brazilian species of Charinus.

Two new species of the genus Glyphiulus Gervais, 1847 are described and illustrated. The first species, G. longussp. nov., is the second species of the javanicus-group to be found in Thailand. It resembles G. guangnanensis Jiang, Guo, Chen & Xie, 2018, from southern China, but is distinguished by a smaller size and the carinotaxic formula of the collum, combined with ♂ legs 1 bearing very strongly reduced telopodites, the anterior gonopods showing a pair of very long and slender apicomesal processes, and the denser plumose and stout flagella of the posterior gonopods. The second species, G. promdamisp. nov., the fifth member of the granulatus-group in Thailand, seems to be particularly similar to G. subbedosae Likhitrakarn, Golovatch & Panha, 2017, from Laos. However, it can be distinguished from the latter species mainly by showing a uniformly yellow collum and the posterior gonopod coxite bearing several strong setae in median and lateral views, coupled with the anterior gonopod coxosternum being microsetose in the anterior and medial parts in caudal view. An identification key to, and a distribution map of, all seven Glyphiulus species currently known to occur in Thailand are also provided.

The new subgenus Maculergithus subgen. nov. is established to accommodate two new species of the genus Gergithus Stål, 1870 (Issinae, Hemisphaeriini): G. (Maculergithus) tamdao subgen. et sp. nov. and G. (Maculergithus) luteomaculatus subgen. et sp. nov. from Tam Dao National Park in North Vietnam. Two more species from Hainan, China, G. multipunctatus Che, Zhang & Wang, 2007 and G. nonomaculatus Meng & Wang, 2012 are also placed in Maculergithus subgen. nov. A fifth species from Hainan, yet undescribed and erroneously identified as G. multipunctatus in recent papers also belongs to this new subgenus. Illustrations of habitus, morphological details and male genitalia together with a distribution map and an identification key to the species of Maculergithus subgen. nov. are provided. Four species of the genus Gergithus are now recorded in Vietnam. A rectificative note on the misinterpretation of G. multipunctatus in recent publications on Issidae is also provided.

Two new species of the genus Hybridolinus from China are described: H. baoxingensis Li & Zhou sp. n. from Sichuan and H. fengyangshanus Li & Zhou sp. n. from Zhejiang. The aedeagi as well as morphological details of Hybridolinus decipiens Schillhammer, 1998 and Hybridolinus smetanai Schillhammer, 2003 are illustrated. An updated identification key to species is provided and the zoogeographical pattern of species distribution is discussed. The types of the new species are deposited in the Institute of Zoology, Chinese Academy of Sciences (IZ-CAS).

Two new species of Serratella Edmunds (Ephemeroptera: Ephemerellidae: Ephemerellinae: Hyrtanellini) are described based on larvae from China and Iran. Serratella brevicauda, new species, is distinguishable from other Hyrtanellini based on its short caudal filaments and its relatively large body size. Serratella elissa, new species, is distinguishable from other Hyrtanellini based on a combination of its having paired tufts of spatulate setae and no paired spines on abdominal terga and having tarsal claws with denticles nearly subequal in size. The state of Asian Serratella systematics is reviewed, and some problems of Hyrtanellini systematics are discussed. Modifications to a recent identification key for ephemerellid larvae are suggested.

Ardisia sharoniae Manjato, Ravololoman.& Razakamal. and A. vohimenensis Manjato, Ravololoman. & Razakamal. (Primulaceae) are described as new species from southeastern Madagascar, the former from the Ankarabolava and Agnakatrika forests (Atsimo-Atsinanana Region) and the latter from the Vohimena range (Anosy Region). They differ from the four currently recognized Malagasy species of Ardisia Sw. by their leaves with serrate margins and their striking angulate twigs. The two new species differ from one another in several characters of their leaves, inflorescences, and fruits. An illustration and a distribution map are provided for each species. Preliminary assessments of the risk of extinction following the IUCN Red List categories and criteria indicate that both are Endangered. An identification key to the seven species of Ardisia occurring in Madagascar is presented.

Two new species of Bredemeyera (Polygalaceae) for Brazil are described and illustrated. Bredemeyera atlantica occurs in Atlantic Forest in the Brazilian states of Espírito Santo and Rio de Janeiro, whereas B. petiolata occurs in Cerrado savanna vegetation along the São Francisco river in the Northeast, in the state of Bahia and Piauí. Photographic plates of the habit and comparative floral morphology with allied species, as well as a distribution map, are provided.
