The male of Paradossenus pulcher Sierwald, 1993 and a new species, P. macuxi, from Roraima, Northern Brazil are described and illustrated for the first time. The monotypic genus Magnichela Silva & Lise, 2006 is a junior synonym of Paradossenus F.O. Pickard-Cambridge, 1903. Paradossenus amazonensis Carico & Silva, 2010 is a junior synonym of Magnichela santaremensis Silva & Lise, 2006 (type species). New data on the Brazilian distributions of Paradossenus acanthocymbium Carico & Silva, 2010, P. tocantins Carico & Silva, 2010 and P. pozo Carico & Silva, 2010 are presented.

The originally monotypic genus Anadenosternum Athias-Henriot, 1980 is revised and redefined. A new species Anadenosternum okalii sp. nov. is described and illustrated based on adult specimens collected in park litter in Bergamo, Italy. The type species of the genus, Anadenosternum azaleense (Daele, 1975), is redescribed and illustrated from adults and deutonymphs collected in soil detritus of greenhouses in the Botanic Garden in Bratislava, Slovakia. Anadenosternum pediculosum Karg & Glockemann, 1995 is considered to be a junior synonym of A. azaleense. The genus Anadenosternum is recorded from Italy and Slovakia for the first time. An identification key to known species of the genus is provided.

AbstractThe fly species crassipes de Meijere is transferred from the Sphaeroceridae to the Drosophilidae since Platyborborus de Meijere, a monotypic genus, is a junior synonym of Colocasiomyia de Meijere. Colocasiomyia crassipes is a very highly modified member of the genus due to its flattened body, reduction and loss of many groundplan setae, deep antennal fossae, and crassate hind legs. The holotype and only known specimen, from Java, is redescribed in detail and illustrated. New records of Colocasiomyia stamenicola (Carson & Okada) and C. gigantea (Okada) are reported from Guadalcanal, Solomon Islands, considerably outside their reported ranges. Colocasiomyia nepalensis sp. n. is described from Kathmandu, Nepal. Cladistic relationships in the genus are briefly examined and related to biogeography and aroid host use.

A New Species

The monotypic genus Corinnella Thomas & Dominique, 2006, was described based on nymphs from French Guyana, and since the original description nothing has been added to knowledge of its systematics. The aim of the present paper is to describe a new species of the genus from Northern Brazil, to improve its diagnoses, and to report the genus for the first time from Brazil. The new species can be recognized by: labrum with discernible anteromedial emargination and process; posterior margin of terga IV with rounded spines; and tarsal claw with seven to nine denticles, with the outer and inner denticles distinctly longer than the others.

A New Species

The monotypic genus Nyleta was described by Dodd from Australia in 1926, with Nyleta striaticeps Dodd as the type species. A new species of Nyleta is now described and imaged from the remote island of Little Andaman in the Andaman and Nicobar group of Islands in the Indian Ocean. Variants of the same species were also collected from Tamil Nadu. The images of the holotype of N. striaticeps are also provided for the first time.

A taxonomic account and an annotated checklist of the Finnish Mymaridae (Hymenoptera: Chalcidoidea) are given, comprising 85 named species in 19 genera. Among them 2 genera, Dicopus Enock, 1909 and Stethynium Enock, 1909, 1 subgenus, Anagrus (Paranagrus Perkins, 1905), and the following 25 species represent new records for Finland: Anagrus (Anagrus) avalae Soyka, 1956, A. (Anagrus) bakkendorfi Soyka, 1946, A. (Anagrus) ensifer Debauche, 1948, A. (Anagrus) nigriceps (Smits van Burgst, 1914), A. (Anagrus) obscurus Förster, 1861, A. (Anagrus) parvus Soyka, 1956, A. (Anagrus) subfuscus Foerster, 1847, A. Caraphractus Walker, 1846, syn. nov. is synonymized with Eustochus Haliday, 1833 and treated as its subgenus, E. (Caraphractus), stat. revid., and its type species Caraphractus cinctus Walker, 1846 is transferred to Eustochus as Eustochus (Caraphractus) cinctus (Walker, 1846), comb. nov. Eustochus (Eustochus) koponeni Triapitsyn, sp. nov. is described from Finland and Germany. Lymaenon gracilentus (Hellén, 1974), stat. restit. is resurrected as a valid species from the previous synonymy with Lymaenon aureus and redescribed. The previously unknown male of Alaptus schmitzi Soyka, 1939 is described. Polynema depressicollis Hellén, 1974, syn. nov., is synonymized with Polynema (Doriclytus) vitripenne. Anagrus (Paranagrus) optabilis is newly recorded from the Canary Islands and Madeira, and Cleruchus megatrichus is for the first time reported from France.

Pothea carpinteroi sp. nov. (Hemiptera: Heteroptera: Reduviidae: Ectrichodiinae) is described based on two male specimens from Mexico. Pothea aeneonitens Stål, 1864 and P. lugens (Fabricius, 1803) are recorded from French Guiana for the first time. Taxonomical notes on these latter two species and P. haematogaster Breddin, 1903 and P. sanguiniventris Miller, 1956 are also presented. A lectotype is designated for P. lugens. Pothea centralis Walker, 1873, treated as a junior synonym of P. lugens by previous authors, is regarded as a potentially valid species. Color variation in the sternites of males and females of P. frontalis (Lepeletier & Serville, 1825) are recorded for the first time. Photographs of the type specimens of P. aeneonitens, P. bivittata Champion, 1899, P. centralis, P. frontalis, P. haematogaster, P. halffteri Carpintero, 1980, P. lugens, P. maculata Champion, 1899, P. reyesi Carpintero, 1980, P. sanguiniventris and P. venatrix Hussey, 1953, are presented.

A new species of Macrelmis Motschulsky, 1859 (Macrelmis rodrigoi sp. nov.) is described and illustrated based on specimens found in mountainous areas of the northern Roraima State, Brazil. Pagelmis amazonica Spangler, 1981, Potamophilops bostrychophallus Maier, 2013 and Stegoelmis geayi Spangler, 1990 are recorded in Brazil for the first time and new records for Gyrelmis obesa Hinton, 1940, Macrelmis thorpei Hinton, 1945 and Neolimnius palpalis Hinton, 1939 are presented.

A checklist of the coelidine leafhoppers of Reserva Nacional Tambopata, Madre de Dios, Peru, is provided, increasing the known diversity from 19 species and 9 genera, to 38 and 18, respectively. In addition, four species have their distributions expanded and recorded for the first time for Peru: Boliviela caverna Nielson, 2011, Carinoscapula sarcula (Nielson, 1992), Dicodia recurvata Nielson, 2011 (Coelidiini), and Plapigella elegans (Spångberg, 1878) (Teruliini). A new species of Coelidiini is also described: Daridna nielsoni sp. nov. from this reserve. A new junior synonym is also recognized: Vernobia johnsoni Nielson, 1979 equals Stalolidia amazonensis Barbosa & Takiya, 2017 syn. nov.

A new species of Notocyrtus, N. costai sp. nov. is described from Surinam. Photographs in dorsal and lateral views are provided for this new species. Notocyrtoides Carvalho, Costa & Gil-Santana, 2001, is considered to be a junior synonym of Coilopus Elkins, 1969, with N. tuberculatus Carvalho, Costa & Gil-Santana, 2001, as a junior synonym of C. vellus Elkins, 1969. New occurrences of other Harpactorini species are recorded for the first time from Brazil: Harpactor rhombeus (Erichson, 1848), Orbella exceptio Bérenger, 2007, and Orbella putshkovi Bérenger, 2007; and from Surinam Notocyrtus dorsalis (Gray, 1832). Remarks on the color variation of these species and Notocyrtus ricciae Gil-Santana & Costa, 2001, and Notocyrtus dispersus Carvalho & Costa, 1992, are given.

A new species of Multumbo Roewer, 1927 (Gonyleptidae: Hernandariinae), M. dimorphicus sp. nov., is described from Rio de Janeiro state, southeastern Brazil. It presents sexual dimorphism in leg IV, contrasting remarkably with the type species of the hitherto monotypic genus Multumbo and the closest genera (Piassagera Roewer, 1928 and Pseudotrogulus Roewer, 1932), which were all thought to have lost this dimorphism. The presence of sexual dimorphism in M. dimorphicus implies a complex scenario of loss or reversal of this character. New records are given of type species of genus, Multumbo terrenus Roewer, 1913, for which a lectotype is designated. New diagnoses are provided for Hernandariinae and Multumbo. Multumbo and Piassagera are transferred from the Gonyleptinae to the Hernandariinae.Uma nova espécie de Multumbo Roewer, 1927, M. dimorphicus sp. nov., é descrita do estado do Rio de Janeiro. Ela apresenta dimorfismo sexual na perna IV, condição em notável contraste com a espécie-tipo do até então gênero monotípico Multumbo e com os gêneros mais relacionados, Piassagera Roewer, 1928 e Pseudotrogulus Roewer, 1932, nos quais esse dimorfismo era considerado como perdido. A presença de dimorfismo sexual em M. dimorphicus sugere um complexo cenário de perda ou reversão desse dimorfismo. Também foram incluídos novos registros da espécie-tipo do gênero, Multumbo terrenus Roewer, 1913, e um lectótipo é designado. Novas diagnoses para Hernandariinae and Multumbo são apresentadas. Multumbo e Piassagera são aqui transferidos de Gonyleptinae para Hernandariinae.
