The genus Oncocephala Agassiz, 1846 (Coleoptera: Chrysomelidae: Cassidinae: Oncocephalini) is reviewed for Africa, except Madagascar. Twenty-four species are treated. Two new synonyms were proposed, Oncocephala kolbei Gestro, 1899a is synonymized with O. promontorii Péringuey, 1898 and O. scabrosa Gestro, 1905 is synonymized with O. severinii Gestro, 1899(1901). Six new species are proposed:  Oncocephala susanstainesae Calcetas, Staines & Adorada sp. nov. from Namibia, Oncocephala deleoni Calcetas, Staines and Adorada sp. nov. from the Democratic Republic of the Congo, Oncocephala camachoi Calcetas, Staines & Adorada sp. nov. from Cameroon, Oncocephala eborai Calcetas, Staines & Adorada sp. nov. from Equatorial Guinea, Oncocephala dimaculanganae Calcetas, Staines & Adorada sp. nov. from Cameroon and Oncocephala demesai Calcetas, Staines and Adorada sp. nov. from Togo. Oncocephala methneri Uhmann, 1928 and O. madoni Pic, 1941 are treated as incerte sedis. The genus Oncocephala in Africa is divided into seven species groups (Gestroi, Perrieri, Insignis, Senegalensis, Promentorii, Cuneata and Angusticollis) based on the similarity of their elytral characters. A key to the species groups and species of Oncocephala is provided.

Based on adult morphology and DNA barcoding, two flower fly species are reported for the first time from India: Helophilus trivittatus (Fabricius, 1805) and Lejogaster tarsata (Megerle in Meigen, 1822). These species were collected from the Kashmir Valley, in the northern fringe of the Western Himalaya of the Indian subcontinent.

Detailed distribution records of the remarkable Eared Leafhopper Ledra aurita from Greece are presented for the first time. All available records from museum and personal collections, as well as online arthropod identification groups were assembled and mapped. The distribution and ecology of the species in the country are briefly discussed.

A new species Stiltoblosyrus serratulus Davidian, sp. nov. is described from Sichuan Province of China. It is the northernmost species of the genus Stiltoblosyrus (Davidian, 2020). From all of the congeners it easily differs in row of large and stout spines at the inner side of hind tibia of the male. New species closely related to S. laticollis Davidian, 2020 and S. brevicornis Davidian, 2020 in size of the process at the inner apical angle of hind tibia of the male, which is distinctly shorter than 2nd segment of hind tarsus. Colour illustrations of habitus and important morphological characters are presented.

The augmented morphological description of the weevil species Acentrus histrio (Schoenherr, 1837) is provided and supplied with photographs of the terminalia and genitalia of both sexes. Female genitalia are described for the first time. Glaucium grandiflorum Boiss. & A. Huett and Glaucium corniculatum (L.) Rudolph (Papaveraceae) are reported as the host plants in Turkey. The adults emerge from the soil in very early spring, locate the host plant, feed on young leaves and buds, mate on the host plant, and females deposit eggs inside the seed capsules. The larvae feed with seeds, mature larvae leave capsules entering soil to pupate, and adults of the new generation hibernate in the soil at the root base of the host plant. This species is univoltine and produced one generation annually in eastern Turkey. Acentrus histrio is newly recorded for Azerbaijan, and A. boroveci Košťál, 2014, for Tajikistan.

Here we describe the flat wasp genus Makeraia gen. nov., and its three species M. migueli sp. nov., M. clariceae sp. nov. and M. lacinia sp. nov. from Madagascar. The males of this genus are easily recognized among the other genera of Pristocerinae by having the antennae very long, about as long as the whole body, a condition unique in Bethylidae. Our findings emphasize the endemicity of the flat wasp fauna of Madagascar and its high potential of biodiversity.

A new species of Plagiozopelma from Cameroon is described and illustrated: Plagiozopelma mezamense sp. nov. Males of the new species differ reliably from other congeneric Afrotropical species by the simple antennal stylus, simple apical bristles on fore tibia and presence of one row of long posteroventral bristles on fore tarsomeres 1 and 2, two to three times longer than width of segments. Plagiozopelma piliseta (Parent, 1936) is illustrated and reported from Burundi for the first time. Plagiozopelma ramiseta (Parent, 1939) is recorded from Liberia for the first time. A new identification key for all the 17 Afrotropical species of genus is provided.
