The taxonomy is reviewed for most Chinese species of Ceruchus. New localities are recorded for Ceruchus minor Tanikado & Okuda. Ceruchus yangi Huang, Imura & Chen, sp. nov. is described from Guizhou, China. Morphological characters of most species from China and Japan are studied and summarized into tables. Female genitalia of seven species of Ceruchus are described and illustrated for the first time. A key to males of the Palaearctic species and a key to females of the Chinese and Japanese species are provided. Natural history notes are given for some species from China.

The flower bug genus Montandoniola Poppius, 1909 of Japan, which previously was represented by a single species, is herein reviewed. Three species are recognized. A new species, M. kerzhneri sp. nov., is described from Iriomote Island of the Ryukyus. Montandoniola thripodes Bergroth, 1916 is recorded from Japan for the first time. Montandoniola thripodes and M. pictipennis (Esaki, 1931) are diagnosed, with detailed descriptions and illustrations of the male and female genitalia. Digital images of the habitus and external characters are provided for all species. Biological notes on M. thripodes and M. pictipennis and a key to the Japanese species are also given.

A new species ofLobellinaYosii, 1956 and a key to all species of the genus is provided. It is distinguished from all known members of the genus by its unique set of morphological characters: mandible with six teeth, cephalic chaeta O present, and free from tubercle Fr, cephalic tubercle Oc with three chaetae, cephalic tubercle Di separate, and tubercle Dl with four (sometimes three) chaetae, Ant. I with eight chaetae, and claw with an inner tooth.VietnuracaeruleaDeharveng & Bedos, 2000 is recorded from China for the first time. New localities ofRambutanurahunanensisJiang & Dong, 2018 andVitronuraparaacutaWang, Wang & Jiang, 2016 from southwest China are also provided.

The Palaearctic species of the genus Trichardis Hermann, 1906 are reviewed. A new species, T. lehri sp. nov., is described. A new synonymy is established: T. leucocoma (van der Wulp, 1899) = T. afanasievae Lehr, 1964, syn. nov. The male of T. mongolica V. Richter, 1972 is described for the first time. External features and the male genitalia of T. lehri sp. nov., T. leucocoma (van der Wulp, 1899) and T. mongolica V. Richter, 1972 are illustrated with photographs.

Two braconid genera from the subfamily Alysiinae, Lodbrokia Hedqvist, 1962 and Asyntactus Marshall, 1898, are recorded in the fauna of Russia and in the Asian continent for the first time. A new species Lodbrokia uralica sp. nov. is described from the Urals, and a key to species of this genus is provided. Redescriptions of the female and male of Asyntactus rhogaleus Marshall, 1898 with information about the level of variability of its morphological characters are given. Asyntactus sigalphoides Marshall, 1898 is synonymised with A. rhogaleus Marshall, 1898 (syn. nov.).

Representatives of some poorly known spider species collected in the rainforest litter of the Orchid Island (Taiwan) are illustrated and discussed here. A new species, Brignoliella tao sp. nov. (Fam. Tetrablemmidae), endemic to Orchid Island, is described based on both sexes. The previously unknown female of Theridiosoma triumphale Zhao & Li, 2012 (Fam. Theridiosomatidae), is described for the first time. Zoma taiwanica (Zhang, Zhu & Tso 2006) comb. nov., from the same family, is illustrated and its transfer from the genus Theridiosoma O. Pickard-Cambridge, 1879 to Zoma Saaristo, 1996 is proposed on the basis of morphological characters. Habitus and genitalia of the endemic species Gongylidioides angustus Tu & Li, 2006 (Fam. Linyphiidae) are also illustrated.

We describe a new species of Selvasaura from the montane forests of the eastern slopes of the Andes in northern Peru, based on external and hemipenial morphological characters and previous phylogenetic analyses. The new species can be differentiated from the other two Selvasaura species in having keeled dorsal scales usually flanked by longitudinal striations, in adults and juveniles; adult males with a yellow vertebral stripe bordered by broad dark brown stripes on each side and a unilobed hemipenis surrounded by the branches of the sulcus spermaticus. The description of the new species contributes information about new states of diagnostic characters of Selvasaura and natural history.

Present paper contains description of a new species, Afrasura tanzaniae Volynkin, sp. nov. from Tanzania. The new species is related to Afrasura rivulosa (Walker, 1854). Male of Afrasura pallescens Durante, 2009 is illustrated here for the first time, with its re-description provided. Afrasura terlineata Durante, 2009 is transferred to the genus Siccia Walker, 1854: Siccia terlineata (Durante, 2009), comb. nov. Adults, male and female genitalia of all species mentioned are illustrated.

Japanese species of the genus Zeugophora Kunze, 1818 (Coleoptera, Megalopodidae, Zeugophorinae) are revised. In this publication, Zeugophora annulata (Baly, 1873), Z. unifasciata (Jacoby, 1885), Z. hozumii Chûjô, 1953, Z. japonica Chûjô, 1951, Z. varipes (Jacoby, 1885), Z. chujoi Ohno, 1961, Z. flavonotata (Chûjô, 1935), and Z. gracilis unicolor Chûjô, 1958 are redescribed, with detailed illustrations of the male and female genitalia. Additionally, Z. nigricollis (Jacoby, 1885) is restored to a valid species from junior synonymy with Z. bicolor (Kraatz, 1879), and Z. cupka sp. nov., is described as a new species.

A new species Ypsolopha rhinolophi Corley is described from northern Portugal and south-east France. It resembles Y. alpella (Denis & Schiffermüller, 1775) and Y. lucella (Fabricius, 1775) but shows clear differences from both species in DNA barcode and in male and female genitalia. Male genitalia of Y. lucella are illustrated for the first time. The new species has been collected at light, reared from larvae on Quercus pyrenaica Willd. and recognised from DNA barcode fragments obtained from droppings of horseshoe bats.

This paper presents ten species of eight genera and four families (Ameroseiidae, Ascidae, Blattisociidae, Laelapidae) of soil-inhabiting mesostigmatic mites in Kazakhstan. Eight of them are species that are recorded for the first time in Kazakhstan: Ameroseius corbiculus (Sowerby, 1806), Antennoseius (Vitzthumia) oudemansi (Thor, 1930), Cosmolaelaps lutegiensis (Shcherbak, 1971), C. markewitschi (Pirianyk, 1959), Gaeolaelaps nolli (Karg, 1962), Laelaspis astronomicus (Koch, 1839), Lasioseius ometes (Oudemans, 1903), and Pseudoparasitus missouriensis (Ewing, 1909). In addition, Gaeolaelaps kanati Joharchi & Issakova sp. nov. is described from Kazakhstan, based on morphological characters of the adult female.
