Aneurysm is the swelling like enlargement present in the walls of the blood vessels. Saccular aneurysm is a rare entity when compared to fusiform aneurysm. Saccular aneurysm in the aortic arch is another rare location. We present a cadaveric case of a 55-year-old male cadaver in which saccular aneurysm was observed during routine dissection teaching for undergraduate students. The lesion was resected and sent for microscopic analysis. The lesion involved the vessel wall only. There were blood clots evident. This report presents the cadaveric presentation and histolopathological findings of the lesion. Key words: Aneurysm, saccular aneurysm, aortic arch

<p class="abstract">An infection with the larval stage of tapeworm (<em>Taenia solium</em>) is known as cysticercosis. It is seen as cysts in various human tissues, most commonly in the the brain and orbit. Head and neck (except brain and orbit) is a rare location for cysticercosis. We present a case of lateral neck swelling which turned out to be solitary cysticercosis of sternocleidomastoid (SCM). The case is reported because it is rare and to reinforce the fact that possibility of parasitic infection should be considered while dealing with a case of neck swelling. It can be managed medically and high resolution sonography can be a reliable tool for diagnosis and follow-up<span lang="EN-IN">.</span></p>

Abstract. A carotid artery pseudoaneurysm in an irradiated neck is a rare entity with possible devastating results and management should be multidisciplinary. We present a successful endovascular treatment of a late carotid artery pseudoaneurysm following patch endarterectomy and cervical radiotherapy.

Castleman's disease is a benign lymphoid neoplasm first reported as hyperplasia of mediastinal lymph nodes. Some authors referred to the lesions as isolated tumors, described as a variant of Hodgkin's disease with a possibility of a malignant potential and others proposed that the lymphoid masses were of a hamartomatous nature. Three histologic variants and two clinical types of the disease have been described. The disease may occur in almost any area in which lymph nodes are normally found. The most common locations are thorax (63%), abdomen (11%) and axilla (4%). We report two separate histologic types of Castleman's disease which were rare in the literature, mimicking sigmoid colon tumor and Hodgkin lymphoma. The diagnostic and therapeutic aspects of this rare entity is discussed.
