The genus Pseudocapritermes Kemner, 1934, endemic to Oriental region is represented by 18 species. A new species, Pseudocapritermes kunjepu Mathew sp. nov. (Isoptera, Termitidae, Termitinae), is described from Kerala, India, based on the characters of soldiers and workers. Morphological measurements of the soldiers and workers are given with suitable illustrations. A revised key to the species of Pseudocapritermes (based on soldier caste) found in India along with the species distribution map are also provided. Key words: Isoptera, new species, Pseudocapritermes, Termitidae

A new species of the genus Eripus, E. balli, sp. nov. is described from Honduras (Honduras, Cortés, Parque Nacional Cusuco). We describe three new species in the genus Glaphyrosoma: G. magnaproctalis n. sp., G. franciscoasturiasi n. sp. and G. hectorcentenoi n. sp. We provide new data on the distribution of G. karnyi, G. beretka and G. anderi in Guatemala. We propose G. bruneri as nomen dubium and we define the status of specimens recorded as G. gracile in Guatemala and Costa Rica. We also include a species distribution map of this genus with the information available to us up to date and a key to species.

In the present study we describe a new species of the genus Omophorus, O. (Sinomophorus) wallacei sp. nov., from Malaysian Borneo. Photographs of habitus and genitalia, a distribution map, and a key for the identification of Omophorus species are included. The definition of the subgenus Sinomophorus is revised and several new diagnostic characters are added. This is the first documented occurrence of Omophorus in Borneo, highlighting its potential diversity in the Oriental region and providing additional evidence of Ethiopian-Oriental disjunction within this genus.

Representatives of the cockroach genus Macrophyllodromia are widely distributed in Central and South Americas. The genus involves 10 species, including one new species described here, that are divided into 3 species groups—splendida, amabile and maximiliani. Macrophyllodromia onorei sp. n. is described as the fourth species of this genus from Ecuador. A key is provided for males of all known species of Macrophyllodromia and a species distribution map is presented.

Abstract—Justicia rubrobracteata, a new species from northeastern Brazil, is described and illustrated. The new species is morphologically similar to J. aequilabris due to its shrubby habit, and terminal and axillary spicate inflorescences with red flowers. However, J. rubrobracteata is differentiated mainly by the shape and color of its bracts and bracteoles as well as an orangish macula in the corolla, and a torulose capsule. In addition, J. rubrobracteata is only known from northeastern Brazil, from the states of Paraíba and Rio Grande do Norte, while J. aequilabris is widely distributed in Bolivia, Brazil, and Paraguay. A table with the main morphological characters of both species is included, as well as photographs, a key to species of Justicia for the states of Paraíba and Rio Grande do Norte in northeastern Brazil, a distribution map of both species, and conservation data for the new species.

Abstract—Turnera macrosperma, a new species from the Brazilian Cerrado, is described and illustrated. The new species belongs to the series Turnera and can be characterized by the white petals with dark blue/violet basal spot and large seeds with papillose aril. A New Species

Abstract—We present a new species, Turnera fasciculifolia, from the Jalapão region, the largest continuous protected area of Cerrado in Tocantins State, in central Brazil. The new species belongs to Turnera series Leiocarpae, and it can be recognized by the linear ericoid leaves with revolute margin, generally without extrafloral nectaries, and the basal leaves of the young axillary branches gathered in fascicles. We provide a description, illustrations, a distribution map, and a comparison with T. genistoides and T. revoluta, which also have ericoid leaves.
