Risk management is undergoing a great change, as organizations shift from the traditional and compartmental to an enterprise wide approach. Consequently, enterprise risk management (ERM) is gaining global attention among risk management professionals and academics. The demand for the adoption of ERM has led to several companies embracing it, yet its implementation has become challenging. Research shows that ERM approach emphasizes a holistic approach for assessing and evaluating the risks that an organization faces as against the “silo” approach of the traditional methods. The extant literature shows that through the reduction of the risk that an organization faces, ERM is capable of improving the performance and value. The study used a non-experimental correlational approach to explore the relationship between the presence of a chief risk officer (CRO) and an audit committee (AC), and the support of top management (TM) in relation to the implementation of ERM. A survey instrument was provided to self-identified risk-management professionals who are members of Survey Monkey Audience Service database. The target sample frame requested for analysis using a power of .95 was (n = 119). However, the final number analyzed was (n = 134). Frequencies and percentages were conducted on the demographic survey items and regression and correlational analyses were also performed. The study findings show that there was a significant relationship between the role of a CRO, the presence of an AC, and the support of TM and the level of ERM deployment. The study also found significant correlations between management support level and CRO, and AC. In addition, a much strong positive correlation was noted between the presence of a CRO and an AC.

This study aims to test the effect of applying the model of the Committee Sponsoring Organizations for enterprise risk management (COSO-ERM) on reducing fraudulent financial reporting in commercial banks operating in Jordan. Furthermore, the study identifies the role of each board of directors, audit committee, executive management, human resource management, and internal audit as one of the corporate governance mechanisms in enhancing the effectiveness of internal control systems. The study revealed an impact of applying the Committee of Sponsoring Organizations model for enterprise risk management (COSO-ERM) on preventing fraudulent financial reporting, where it reached influence around 77.8% on the dependent variable (fraudulent financial reporting). The study also found that each of internal control, event identification, risk assessment and response, and control activities variables affects dependent variable (fraudulent financial reporting) in commercial banks operating in Jordan.

The aim of the study to present the role of internal audit in the company. The role of internal audit in the company is very important to control not only the financial sector but also other sectors that have been determined by the management. There is a relationship that is so tightly between the internal audit and corporate management, internal audit which can increase the value and achieve its goals. Internal audit should also adjust its function, not only on financial issues, but other problems, associated with risk and improved control strategies.

Abstract- This research aims to observe and analyze the impact of Good Corporate Governance towards Corporate Value as well as analyzing whether Enterprise Risk Management is able to moderate its impact. Good Corporate Governance is proxied by the presence of Independent Commissioners, Audit Committee, as well as Managerial Ownership. The population of this research includes all financial companies that publish their annual report in Bursa Efek Indonesia (BEI) over the period of 2017-2019. Data were analyzed using the multiple regression method and the moderated regression analysis. The result of this research found that Independent Commissioners and Audit Committee gives positive and significant impact towards Corporate Value while Managerial Ownership gives negative and insignificant impact towards Corporate Value. Enterprise Risk Management is not able to moderate the impact of Independent Commissioner and Managerial Ownership towards Corporate Value but is able to moderate the impact of the Audit Committee towards Corporate Value. Implementation of Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) by Internal Audit in an orga-nization or company becomes important because Internal Audit is expected to help the organization achieve its objectives by approaching systematic and discipline to evaluate and improve the effectiveness of risk management, control, and governance process. As for which affects it is the involvement of internal auditors, the relation-ship of the audit committee with the internal auditor, and ERM.This study aims to analyze the involvement of Internal Audit in Enterprise Risk mana-gement implementation. Internal auditors should assist both management and audit committees in risk management responsibilities and supervisory roles by examining, evaluating, reporting and recommending improvements to the adequacy and effec-tiveness of risk management processes. An interesting issue is whether internal auditors involved in corporate risk management have a link to the willingness of internal auditors to report to the audit committee.The population in this study are the internal auditors and audit committees who working in companies manufacturing and financial services. The reason for determining the company is because the researcher wants to know how internal audit is involved in ERM implementation on that entity. The sample used in this research is internal auditor at private company and at Banking in this case internal auditor at local bank.The analytical method used is multiple regression analysis with SPSS version 23 pro-gram. The analysis technique used in this research is descriptive statistical analysis, classical assumption test, F-statistic hypothesis test to test influence together with 5% confidence level and use t-statistics to test partial regression coefficients. This re-search was conducted to analyze how much influence the role of Internal Audit in applying Enterprise Risk Management in the implementation of Audit.The result of this research is that the high level of internal auditor involvement in Enterprise Risk management implementation has no significant and significant im-pact on reporting of damage to risk management procedures. This indicates that the role of internal auditors in corporate risk management does not affect the reporting of damage to corporate risk management procedures. While the characteristics of strong relationships between internal auditors and audit committees positively and significantly influence the reporting of risk procedures, this indicates that internal audits that have strong internal audit-audit committee relationships strongly support internal auditors who have high involvement to report damage Greater risk procedures.
