A survey of fungi from leaf litter at Bach Ma National Park in Viet Nam was initiated.  Using surface disinfection and moist chamber with single spore isolation methods, 102 isolates were obtained and of those, 70 isolates were selected for further morphological study. They belong to 5 classes, 9 orders, 14 families, 33 genera, and 51 species. Among them, Ceratosporella deviata, Lateriramulosa sp., Isthmolongispora ampuliformis, Polylobatispora quinquecornuta, Scolecobasidium tricladiatum, Triglyphiuma labamense, Tricladiella pulvialis, Tripospermum myrti, Triscelophorus sp., Varicosporium elodeaea are newly recorded in Viet Nam.

Five different species of Copepoda were extracted from a leaf litter sample collected on the top (at 2000 m a.s.l.) of a cloud forested mountain in El Cusuco National Park, Honduras. Three of them, one Cyclopidae and two Canthocamptidae are new to science, and are described herein. Olmeccyclops hondo sp. nov. is the second representative thus far known of this New World genus. Moraria catracha sp. nov. and Moraria cusuca sp. nov. are the first formally described members of the genus occurring in Central America. The concept of a “Moraria-group” is considered to be an artificial grouping and is limited here to the genera Moraria and Morariopsis only. The distributional range of this group is essentially Holarctic, with the mountainous regions inHonduras, and probably in westNicaragua, as the southernmost limits in theNew World.

Georissus (Neogeorissus) smetanai sp. nov. is described from Mt. Kinabalu National Park, Sabah, Malaysia. Long series of thisspecies has been sifted from cloud forest leaf litter in contrast to most species of the genus, which are most frequently collectedin riparian zones. The species is compared with G. lateralis Delève, 1967 and G. inflatus Delève, 1972, which were collected under similar circumstances and the leaf-litter habits of the three species are briefly discussed.Keywords. Two new species of oribatid mites of the family Oppiidae collected from leaf litter in Madagascar are described. Ramuselloppia indistincta sp. nov. differs from Ramuselloppia anomala by larger body size, the presence of epimeral tubercles  and comparatively long lamellar, interlamellar and notogastral setae and the absence of costulae and heads of bothridial setae. An identification key to known species of Ramuselloppia is provided. Lanceoppia (Baioppia) rugosa sp. nov. differs from all species of the subgenus by heavily rugose posterior part of the notogaster. The genus Ramuselloppia and subgenus Lanceoppia (Baioppia) are recorded in the Ethiopian region for the first time; the species Multioppia (Hammeroppia) wilsoni is recorded in Madagascar for the first time.

Two new species of oribatid mites of the genus Neoribates (Oribatida, Parakalummidae) are described based on adult specimens from leaf litter in the Montagne d'Ambre National Park of North Madagascar. Neoribates africanus sp. nov. and N. madagascarensis sp. nov. clearly differs from all species of the genus by the absence of interlamellar seta (including alveolus). An identification key and data on distribution and ecology of known African species of Parakalummidae are presented.

Two new species of the subgenus Galumna (Galumna) (Oribatida, Galumnidae) are described from leaf litter of evergreen rain forest in eastern Madagascar. Galumna brevilineata sp. nov. differs from its closest species Galumna (Galumna) anuakensis Ermilov, 2019 and Galumna paracalcicola Ermilov & Anichkin 2014 by the length of interlamellar and lamellar setae, the localization of notogastral lyrifissures im, the ornamentation of anogenital region, the morphology of bothridial setae and postanal porose area, and the absence of median pore. Galumna (Galumna) paraarmatifera sp. nov. differs from its closest species Galumna armatifera Mahunka, 1996 by the morphology of bothridial setae and anal plates, and the length of circumpedal carinae. An identification key to species of Galumna (Galumna) of the calcicola-group (species with short lamellar lines) was presented.

Abstract Four new species of Heth are described from diplopods collected in different parts of Viet Nam: Heth vietnamensis sp. n. and H. tonkinensis sp. n. in Ba Vi National Park, Ha Tay Province; H. taybaci sp. n. in Lai Chau Province and H. taynguyeni sp. n. in Chu Yang Sin National Park, Dak Lak Province. The new species are morphologically related to those described from Papua New Guinea, but are differentiated by the form of the female cuticular armature. Heth vietnamensis sp. n. is characterised by the posterior end of the lappets overhanging the anterior pair of the lateral spines, the similar size of spines in both pairs and the presence of two pairs of small papillae on the anterior lip of the cloacal aperture. Heth tonkinensis sp. n. can be differentiated from the other species by having the longest lappets, lateral spines with fused bases and the unequal-sized spicule heads. Heth taybaci sp. n. has the shortest lappets of the described Vietnamese species, has gaps between the lateral spines that are wider than the spine base and the presence of a bursa-like cuticular fold at cloacal aperture level. Heth taynguyeni sp. n. males also have a bursa-like cuticular fold but, unlike H. taybaci sp. n., this species is characterised by the bifurcate distal tips of the spicule and the undulating inner margin of the lappets.
