Two new species of Aegopsis Burmeister, 1847 (Coleoptera: Scarabaeidae: Dynastinae: Agaocephalini), Aegopsis diceratops Sobral & Grossi new species and Aegopsis vazdemelloi Sobral & Grossi new species, are described and illustrated based on specimens collected in Cerrado habitat in the Brazilian states of Minas Gerais and Mato Grosso. The new species are similar to A. bolboceridus (Thomson, 1860). A redescription of A. bolboceridus is provided along with remarks comparing characters among these three species. A distribution map and a male and female key to the species in the genus are provided.

Microlicia deflexasp. nov. and M. johnwurdackianasp. nov. are described, illustrated and an updated identification key for the species of Microlicia from Clube Caça e Pesca Itororó de Uberlândia is provided. Microlicia deflexa occurs in Minas Gerais and Goiás States and is characterised by its linear-lanceolate and deflexed sepal on flower and immature fruit, long pedicel and indumentum of glandular trichomes, mixed with spherical, golden glands. Microlicia johnwurdackiana is endemic to Uberlândia and characterised by having indumentum of setose trichomes and spherical, golden glands, magenta petal with greenish abaxial surface at the apex and dimorphic stamens with bicolorous and tetrasporangiate anthers.

Two new species of Mimallonidae are described from the Brazilian Cerrado. One species belongs to Procinnus Herbin, 2016 and the second to Micrallo St Laurent and C. Mielke, 2016, both considered to belong to Druenticinae St Laurent and Kawahara, 2018. Procinnus incanus sp. n. is described from Bahia, Goiás, Distrito Federal, Minas Gerais, and São Paulo and is characterized by its wing habitus and male genitalia. Micrallo macro sp. n., the second species to be placed in Micrallo, is described from Minas Gerais. It differs from M. minutus St Laurent and C. Mielke, 2016 by larger size and distinct genitalia of both the male and female. All taxa involved are figured along with their genitalia. Holotypes designated here are deposited in the Coll. Padre Jesus S. Moure, in the Departamento de Zoologia, Universidade Federal do Paraná, Curitiba, Paraná, Brazil.

Two new endemic species of Bonamia Thours (Convolvulaceae) are described from the Brazilian Cerrado: Bonamia austinii A.Moreira & Sim.-Bianch., and Bonamia krapovickasii A.Moreira & Sim.-Bianch. Both species grow in Campo Limpo (savanna grassland with few scattered trees) and have small tomentose leaves and white flowers. They are easily distinguished from each other and from other species of the genus by their habit and inflorescence. The new taxa are illustrated and their characteristics are compared with morphologically similar species.

Monographic work on the genus Hippeastrum in Brazil has revealed two new species endemic to the Cerrado biome, here described and illustrated. Hippeastrum lunaris is a species restricted to the region of Chapada dos Veadeiros; H. mauroi is so far found only in Chapada dos Guimarães. Detailed descriptions, illustrations and taxonomic comments on the conservation status of these species are provided, in addition to comparisons with morphologically similar species. An identification key to the species of Hippeastrum occurring in the Brazilian Cerrado is presented, accompanied by photographs of these species in their natural habitats.
