In this paper, we study Ishikawa iterative scheme with error terms for a finite family of Iasymptotically quasi-nonexpansive mappings in a convex metric space. We established strong convergence theorems and their applications for the proposed algorithms in a convex metric space. Our theorems improve and extend the corresponding known results in Banach spaces.

AbstractIn this paper, we study strong convergence theorems for a generalized three-step iterative scheme with errors to approximate common fixed points of three asymptotically quasi-nonexpansive mappings in real Banach spaces. Our results generalize and improve upon the corresponding results in [

We study a Mann type iterative scheme for two finite families of nonexpansive mappings and establish 4− convergence and strong convergence theorems. The obtained results are applicable in uniformly convex Banach spaces (linear domain) and CAT (0) spaces (nonlinear domain) simultaneously.

It is well known that Krasnoselskii-Mann iteration of nonexpansive mappings find application in many areas of mathematics and know to be weakly convergent in the infinite dimensional setting. In this paper, we introduce and study an explicit iterative scheme by a modified Krasnoselskii-Mann algorithm for approximating fixed points of multivalued quasi-nonexpansive mappings in Banach spaces. Strong convergence of the sequence generated by this algorithm is established. There is no compactness assumption. The results obtained in this paper are significant improvement on important recent results.

We study a strong convergence for a common fixed point of a finite family of quasi-Bregman nonexpansive mappings in the framework of real reflexive Banach spaces. As a consequence, convergence for a common fixed point of a finite family of Bergman relatively nonexpansive mappings is discussed. Furthermore, we apply our method to prove strong convergence theorems of iterative algorithms for finding a common solution of a finite family equilibrium problem and a common zero of a finite family of maximal monotone mappings. Our theorems improve and unify most of the results that have been proved for this important class of nonlinear mappings.

We introduce a general iteration scheme for a finite family of generalized asymptotically quasi-nonexpansive mappings in Banach spaces. The new iterative scheme includes the multistep Noor iterations with errors, modified Mann and Ishikawa iterations, three-step iterative scheme of Xu and Noor, and Khan and Takahashi scheme as special cases. Our results generalize and improve the recent ones announced by Khan et al. (2008), H. Fukhar-ud-din and S. H. Khan (2007), J. U. Jeong and S. H. Kim (2006), and many others.

We unify all known iterative methods by introducing a new explicit iterative scheme for approximation of common fixed points of finite families of total asymptoticallyI-nonexpansive mappings. Note that such a scheme contains a particular case of the method introduced by (C. E. Chidume and E. U. Ofoedu, 2009). We construct examples of total asymptotically nonexpansive mappings which are not asymptotically nonexpansive. Note that no such kind of examples were known in the literature. We prove the strong convergence theorems for such iterative process to a common fixed point of the finite family of total asymptoticallyI-nonexpansive and total asymptotically nonexpansive mappings, defined on a nonempty closed-convex subset of uniformly convex Banach spaces. Moreover, our results extend and unify all known results.

In this paper, we study a strong convergence theorem for a common fixed point of a finite family of Bregman strongly nonexpansive mappings in the framework of reflexive real Banach spaces. As a consequence, we prove convergence theorem for a common fixed point of a finite family of Bergman relatively nonexpansive mappings. Furthermore, we apply our method to prove strong convergence theorems of iterative algorithms for finding a common zero of a finite family of Bregman inverse strongly monotone mappings and a solution of a finite family of variational inequality problems.

Weak and strong convergence theorems are established for hybrid implicit iteration for a finite family of non-self-nonexpansive mappings in uniformly convex Banach spaces. The results presented in this paper extend and improve some recent results.
