In the framework of a real Banach space with uniformly Gateaux differentiable norm, some new viscosity iterative sequences{xn}are introduced for an infinite family of asymptotically nonexpansive mappingsTii=1∞in this paper. Under some appropriate conditions, we prove that the iterative sequences{xn}converge strongly to a common fixed point of the mappingsTii=1∞, which is also a solution of a variational inequality. Our results extend and improve some recent results of other authors.

This paper introduces and analyzes a viscosity iterative algorithm for an infinite family of nonexpansive mappings{Ti}i=1∞in the framework of a strictly convex and uniformly smooth Banach space. It is shown that the proposed iterative method converges strongly to a common fixed point of{Ti}i=1∞, which solves specific variational inequalities. Necessary and sufficient convergence conditions of the iterative algorithm for an infinite family of nonexpansive mappings are given. Results shown in this paper represent an extension and refinement of the previously known results in this area.

Using Bregman functions, we introduce a new hybrid iterative scheme for finding common fixed points of an infinite family of Bregman weakly relatively nonexpansive mappings in Banach spaces. We prove a strong convergence theorem for the sequence produced by the method. No closedness assumption is imposed on a mappingT:C→C, whereCis a closed and convex subset of a reflexive Banach spaceE. Furthermore, we apply our method to solve a system of equilibrium problems in reflexive Banach spaces. Some application of our results to the problem of finding a minimizer of a continuously Fréchet differentiable and convex function in a Banach space is presented. Our results improve and generalize many known results in the current literature.

We introduce a class ofη-accretive mappings in a real Banach space and show that theη-proximal point mapping forη-m-accretive mapping is Lipschitz continuous. Further, we develop an iterative algorithm for a class of general variational-like inclusions involvingη-accretive mappings in real Banach space, and discuss its convergence criteria. The class ofη-accretive mappings includes several important classes of operators that have been studied by various authors.

We introduce an iterative method for finding a common fixed point of a countable family of multivalued quasi-nonexpansive mapping{Ti}in a uniformly convex Banach space. We prove that under certain control conditions, the iterative sequence generated by our method is an approximating fixed point sequence of eachTi. Some strong convergence theorems of the proposed method are also obtained for the following cases: allTiare continuous and one ofTiis hemicompact, and the domainKis compact.

We introduce and study a new general system of nonlinear variational inclusions involving generalizedm-accretive mappings in Banach space. By using the resolvent operator technique associated with generalizedm-accretive mappings due to Huang and Fang, we prove the existence theorem of the solution for this variational inclusion system in uniformly smooth Banach space, and discuss convergence and stability of a class of new perturbed iterative algorithms for solving the inclusion system in Banach spaces. Our results presented in this paper may be viewed as an refinement and improvement of the previously known results.
