ABSTRACT The purpose of this research there are three. First, describe the environmental field vocabulary mastery of grade VIII SMP Negeri 6 Pariaman. Second, it describes the text of the news writing skills of students of class VIII SMP Negeri 6 Pariaman. Third, vocabulary mastery skills contribution to analyze the field of the environment against the text of the news writing skills of students of class VIII SMP Negeri 6 Pariaman. This type of research quantitative descriptive method. The design used in this research is the design korelasional. This research population is grade VIII SMP Negeri 6 Pariaman, i.e. 70 students. The sample in this research are determined using total sampling total sample that is equal to the number of population that is 70 students. Research data is vocabulary mastery test scores field environment and score news writing skills text.  Research instrument is the objective tests to measure mastery of the vocabulary of the field of environmental and performance tests for measuring writing skills text news. The results of the research there were three. First, mastery of the vocabulary of the field of the environment class VIII students of SMP Negeri 6 Pariaman are on good qualification. Secondly, the text of the news writing skills of students of class VIII SMP Negeri 6 Pariaman are on good qualification. Third, vocabulary mastery of the field of the environment account for 58.98% against the text of the news writing skills of students of class VIII SMP Negeri 6 Pariaman.               Kata Kunci: Kontribusi, Penguasaan Kosakata Bidang Lingkungan Hidup, Keterampilan Menulis Teks Berita

ABSTRACT The purpose of this research there are three. First, describe the environmental field vocabulary mastery of grade VIII SMP Negeri Padang 18. Second, it describes the writing skills text beritasiswa class VIII SMP Negeri Padang 18. Third, vocabulary mastery correlation describes the environmental field with the text of the news writing skills of students of class VIII SMP Negeri Padang 18. The theory associated with this research is a theory about the writing skills (a), (b) the text of the news, and (c) mastery of the vocabulary of the field of the environment.  This research type is quantitative descriptive method. The design used is a korelasional design. Population research is grade VIII SMP Negeri Padang 18 listed on the school year 2018/2019, namely 362 students. The research sample is determined by proportional random sampling of 20% of the population, namely 72 students. Research data in the form of score vocabulary mastery test results of the environmental field and score the writing skills test result text news. The data obtained through two types of tests i.e. objective tests to measure mastery of the vocabulary of the field of environmental and performance tests for measuring writing skills text news. Based on the results of the study, it was concluded that vocabulary knowledge is correlated with writing skills text news. The better knowledge of vocabulary will be the better text news writing skills anyway. Thus, for the skilled writing text news grade VIII SMP Negeri Padang, 18 required mastery of the vocabulary. Kata kunci: Korelasi, Kosakata, Menulis, Teks Berita

ABSTRACT This article reveals the contribution of mastery of the intrinsic elements to writing skills of the short story text grade students XI SMAN 2 Bukittinggi. The purpose of this research there are three. First, it describes the mastery of the intrinsic elements. Second, it describes the writing skills of the short story text. Third, describing the contribution of mastery of the intrinsic elements to writing skills of the short story text. This research type is quantitative, descriptive method, and design contribution. This research population is grade XI that are registered on the school year 2018/2019, i.e. as many as 311 students. The sample in this research are determined by proportional random sampling of 10% of the population, i.e. 30 students. The research data are scores as a result of mastering the intrinsic elements and the scores of writing skills from the short story text. The data obtained through two types of tests i.e. objective tests to measure the mastery of the instrinsic elements and performance tests to measure the skills of writing a short story text. The results of the research there are three. First, the mastery of the intrinsic elements are on good qualifications (B) by the value of the average 77,67. Second, the skills of writing text short story are on more than enough qualifications (LdC) with an average of 70,00. Third, there is a contribution of the intrinsic elements to writing skills of the short story text grade students XI SMAN 2 Bukittinggi at 66,26%. Kata kunci: Kontribusi, Penguasaan, Unsur Intrinsik, Keterampilan, Menulis, Teks Cerpen

ABSTRACT The purpose of this study is three. First, describe the listening skills of class VIII interview at SMP Negeri 23 Padang. Second, describing the news text writing skills of class VIII students of SMP Negeri 23 Padang. Third, describe the correlation of listening skills to interviews with news text writing skills of class VIII students of SMP Negeri 23 Padang. This type of research is a quantitative descriptive method. The design used in this study is correlational design. The population of this study was Class VIII of SMP Negeri 23 Padang. The sample in this study was determined by proportional random sampling of 25% of the population, namely 51 students. The research data were test scores on interview listening skills and news text writing skills test scores. The research instrument was an objective test to measure interview listening skills and performance tests to measure news text writing skills. The results of this study are three. First, the writing text skills of class VIII students of SMP Negeri 23 Padang are in more than enough qualifications. Secondly, listening to interview skills is more than adequate. Third, listening skills interviewed were correlated at 7,41 with news text writing skills of class VIII students of SMP Negeri 23 Padang.                Kata Kunci: Korelasi, Keterampilan Menyimak Wawancara, Keterampilan Menulis Teks Berita

ABSTRACT The purpose of this research there are three. First, describe vocabulary mastery Class VII students of SMP Negeri Padang 16. Second, it describes the text of the story of fantasy writing skills grade VII JUNIOR Country 16. Third, vocabulary mastery with correlation describes writing skills text story fantasy grade VII SMP Negeri Padang. 16.  This research type is quantitative descriptive method. The design used in this research is the design korelasional. This research population is grade VII SMP Negeri Padang 16. listed on the 2018/2019 school year, that is 284 students. The sample in this research are determined by proportional random sampling of 20% of the population, i.e. 50 students. Research data is a score test results and score vocabulary mastery test results writing skills text story fantasy. Research instrument is an objective test to measure mastery of vocabulary news and performance tests to measure the writing skills text story fantasy. Based on the results of such research, it can be inferred that the skills of listening text news is correlated with writing skills text news. The better mastery of the vocabulary the better news will also enhance the story text writing skills. Kata kunci: Korelasi, Kosakata, Menulis Teks Cerita Fantasi

The data obtained through two types of tests i.e. objective tests to measure the skills of listening rhyme and performance tests to measure the skills of writing a text rhyme. The results of the research there are three. First, the skills of listening rhyme grade VII SMP Negeri 34 Padang are on good qualifications (B) by the value of the average 77,67. Second, the skills of writing rhyme grade VII SMP Negeri 34 Padang are on good qualifications (B) with an average of 82,31. Second, it describes the writing skills text description grade VII SMP Negeri 8 field. Third, describing the correlation of the reading comprehension text descriptions and writing skills text description grade VII SMP Negeri 8 field. This research type is quantitative descriptive method. The design used in this research is the design correlation. This research population is grade VII SMP 8 Negeri Padang are registered on the 12th school year 2018/2019, i.e. as many as 255 students. The sample in this research are determined by proportional random sampling of 15% of the population, i.e. 40 students. The data obtained through two types of tests i.e. objective tests to measure the skills of reading comprehension text description and performance tests to measure the skills of writing a text description. The results of the research there are three. First, the skills of reading comprehension text description grade VII SMP Negeri Padang 8 are on good qualifications (B) by the value of the average 79.17. Second, the skills of writing text descriptions grade VII SMP Negeri Padang 8 are on good qualifications (B) with an average of 81.25. Third, there is a significant correlation between reading skills of calss VII students of SMP Negeri 8 Padang in the freedom degree and 95% significant level. H0 is rejected an H1 is accepted because the test results prove that the count is greater than ttable, namely 7,56>2,68. Kata kunci: Korelasi, Keterampilan, Membaca Pemahaman, Menulis

Research instrument is an objective test to measure the skills of reading comprehension text description and performance tests to measure the skills of writing a text description. The results of the research there are three. First, a text description of the writing skills of students of grade VII SMP Negeri 1 Bayang Utara lies on the qualifications of either (B). Second, the skills of reading comprehension text description grade VII SMP Negeri 1 Bayang Utara are on Good qualifications (B). Second, comprehension text news grade VIII SMP Negeri Padang 12 are on more than enough qualifications (LdC) by the value of the average 73,95.
