ABSTRACT The purpose of this research there are three. First, describe the environmental field vocabulary mastery of grade VIII MTS. n. 2 southern coast. Second, it describes the writing skills text beritasiswa class VIII MTS. n. 2 SelatanKetiga Coast, describing the correlation field environmental vocabulary mastery with the text of the news writing skills of students of class VIII MTS. n. 2 southern coast. This research type is quantitative descriptive method. The design used is a korelasional design. Population research is grade VIII MTS. n. 2 southern coast that are listed in the 2018/2019, i.e., 223 students. The research sample is determined by proportional random sampling of 20% of the population, namely 45 pupils. The results of the research there are three. First, mastery of the vocabulary of the field of the environment students of class VIII MTS. n. 2 located on the southern coast of qualifications either (B) with an average value of 78.81. Secondly, the text of the news writing skills of students of class VIII MTS. n. 2 located on the southern coast of qualifications either (B) with an average of 79.54. Third, there is a correlation of mastery of the vocabulary of the field of the environment with the text of the news writing skills of students of class VIII MTS. n. 2 southern coast on a 95% confidence level with n-1 degrees of freedom. the value of thitung > ttabel (5.01 > 1.62). Kata Kunci: Korelasi, Kosakata Bidang Lingkungan Hidup, Menulis Teks Berita

ABSTRACT The purpose of this research there are three. First, describe the environmental field vocabulary mastery of grade VIII SMP Negeri Padang 18. Second, it describes the writing skills text beritasiswa class VIII SMP Negeri Padang 18. Third, vocabulary mastery correlation describes the environmental field with the text of the news writing skills of students of class VIII SMP Negeri Padang 18. The theory associated with this research is a theory about the writing skills (a), (b) the text of the news, and (c) mastery of the vocabulary of the field of the environment.  This research type is quantitative descriptive method. The design used is a korelasional design. Population research is grade VIII SMP Negeri Padang 18 listed on the school year 2018/2019, namely 362 students. The research sample is determined by proportional random sampling of 20% of the population, namely 72 students. Research data in the form of score vocabulary mastery test results of the environmental field and score the writing skills test result text news. The data obtained through two types of tests i.e. objective tests to measure mastery of the vocabulary of the field of environmental and performance tests for measuring writing skills text news. Based on the results of the study, it was concluded that vocabulary knowledge is correlated with writing skills text news. The better knowledge of vocabulary will be the better text news writing skills anyway. Thus, for the skilled writing text news grade VIII SMP Negeri Padang, 18 required mastery of the vocabulary. Kata kunci: Korelasi, Kosakata, Menulis, Teks Berita

ABSTRACT The purpose of this research there are three. First, describe the environmental field vocabulary mastery of grade VIII SMP Negeri 6 Pariaman. Second, it describes the text of the news writing skills of students of class VIII SMP Negeri 6 Pariaman. Third, vocabulary mastery skills contribution to analyze the field of the environment against the text of the news writing skills of students of class VIII SMP Negeri 6 Pariaman. This type of research quantitative descriptive method. The design used in this research is the design korelasional. This research population is grade VIII SMP Negeri 6 Pariaman, i.e. 70 students. The sample in this research are determined using total sampling total sample that is equal to the number of population that is 70 students. Research data is vocabulary mastery test scores field environment and score news writing skills text.  Research instrument is the objective tests to measure mastery of the vocabulary of the field of environmental and performance tests for measuring writing skills text news. The results of the research there were three. First, mastery of the vocabulary of the field of the environment class VIII students of SMP Negeri 6 Pariaman are on good qualification. Secondly, the text of the news writing skills of students of class VIII SMP Negeri 6 Pariaman are on good qualification. Third, vocabulary mastery of the field of the environment account for 58.98% against the text of the news writing skills of students of class VIII SMP Negeri 6 Pariaman.               Kata Kunci: Kontribusi, Penguasaan Kosakata Bidang Lingkungan Hidup, Keterampilan Menulis Teks Berita

ABSTRACT The purpose of this study is three. First, describe the listening skills of class VIII interview at SMP Negeri 23 Padang. Second, describing the news text writing skills of class VIII students of SMP Negeri 23 Padang. Third, describe the correlation of listening skills to interviews with news text writing skills of class VIII students of SMP Negeri 23 Padang. This type of research is a quantitative descriptive method. The design used in this study is correlational design. The population of this study was Class VIII of SMP Negeri 23 Padang. The sample in this study was determined by proportional random sampling of 25% of the population, namely 51 students. The research data were test scores on interview listening skills and news text writing skills test scores. The research instrument was an objective test to measure interview listening skills and performance tests to measure news text writing skills. The results of this study are three. First, the writing text skills of class VIII students of SMP Negeri 23 Padang are in more than enough qualifications. Secondly, listening to interview skills is more than adequate. Third, listening skills interviewed were correlated at 7,41 with news text writing skills of class VIII students of SMP Negeri 23 Padang.                Kata Kunci: Korelasi, Keterampilan Menyimak Wawancara, Keterampilan Menulis Teks Berita

ABSTRACT The purpose of this research there are three. First, describe vocabulary mastery Class VII students of SMP Negeri Padang 16. Second, it describes the text of the story of fantasy writing skills grade VII JUNIOR Country 16. Third, vocabulary mastery with correlation describes writing skills text story fantasy grade VII SMP Negeri Padang. 16.  This research type is quantitative descriptive method. The design used in this research is the design korelasional. This research population is grade VII SMP Negeri Padang 16. listed on the 2018/2019 school year, that is 284 students. The sample in this research are determined by proportional random sampling of 20% of the population, i.e. 50 students. Research data is a score test results and score vocabulary mastery test results writing skills text story fantasy. Research instrument is an objective test to measure mastery of vocabulary news and performance tests to measure the writing skills text story fantasy. Based on the results of such research, it can be inferred that the skills of listening text news is correlated with writing skills text news. ABSTRACT The purpose of this study is as follows. First, describe the critical reading skills of students of class VIII SMP Negeri 1 Mapat Tunggul Selatan. Second, it describes the writing skills text exposition of grade VIII SMP Negeri 1 Mapat Tunggul Selatan. Thirdly, analysing the contribution of the reading skills of critical writing skills text exposition of grade VIII SMP Negeri 1 Mapat Tunggul Selatan. Type of this research is a descriptive method quantitative research. The design of research i.e. research korelasional. This research population is grade VIII SMP Negeri 1 Mapat Tunggul Selatan 2018/2019 school year with a total of 50 people scattered in two classes. A sample of these studies amounted to 50 people. Sampling techniques in the study are the total sampling. Variables this research is critical reading skills as free variables (X) and writing skills text exposition as a variable (Y). The instruments used in this research is an objective test for critical reading skills and test performance for writing skills text Exposition. The results of the research there are three, as follows. First, critical reading skills of students of class VIII SMP Negeri 1 Mapat Tunggul Selatan qualified enough, with an average value of 57.08 is under the KKM (75). Second, the skills of writing a text exposition of grade VIII SMP Negeri 1 Mapat Tunggul Selatan qualified enough, with an average value of 59.67 is under the KKM (75). Third, there is a positive and significant contribution between critical reading skills with writing skills text exposition of grade VIII SMP Negeri 1 Mapat Tunggul Selatan at significant level 95% and the degrees of freedom (dk) = n-1 because thitung > ttabel IE 3.03 > 1.68.  Based on the results of this study it was concluded that there is a linear relationship between critical reading skills with writing skills text exposition of grade VIII SMP Negeri 1 Mapat Tunggul Selatan with a confidence level of 95%. In other words, if the student's critical reading skills are good, then the exposition text writing skills students are also good. In contrast, when bad Exposition text skills, then writing skills students also bad Exposition text. Kata Kunci: Kontribusi, Membaca Kritis, Menulis Teks Eksposisi

ABSTRACT The purpose of this study is three. First, it describes the reading skills of news comprehension of VIII grade students of SMP Negeri 3 Solok. Second, describe the news text writing skills. Third, describe the correlation of reading news comprehension with news writing skills. This type of research is quantitative with descriptive methods. The design used in this study is correlational design. The population of this study was students of class VIII of SMP Negeri 3 Solok. The sample in this study was determined by proportional random sampling 15% of the population. The data of this study were in the form of scores on the reading comprehension test results of news comprehension and scores on the results of writing news text skills. This research instrument is an objective test to measure reading comprehension skills of news and performance tests to measure news text writing skills. Three results of this study. First, the reading skills of news comprehension in good qualifications (B) with an average grade of 78.56. Secondly, news writing skills in good qualifications (B) with an average of 77.78. Third, there is a correlation between reading comprehension and news writing skills with news text with n-1 degrees of freedom at a 95% confidence level. T value (3.77) is greater than t table (1.72), that is tcount> t table (3.77> 1.72), thus H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted because the test results prove that tcount is greater than t table.    Kata kunci: Korelasi, Keterampilan Membaca Pemahaman Berita, Keterampilan          menulis berita

<p>This study aims to improve the skills of writing news on the student of Language and Literature Education Indonesia  using strategy cooperatif type group investigation.This type of research is classroom action research with qualitative descriptive method. This research model refers to a model Kemmis and Mc Taggart. Subjects were students of Indonesian education enrolled in the academic year 2017/2018. Data collected by the test and non-test techniques. The instrument used, namely in the form of news writing test, interview and observation sheet. The results showed that an increase in news writing skills using strategy cooperatif type group investigation.This is evidenced from the average value of students in each cycle. The average value of 62.12 students in prasiklus then increased in the first cycle to 66.24 and the second cycle the average value of students increased to 87.00.</p><p> </p><p> </p>

First, the skill to listen appreciative short grade XII SMA Negeri 2 Pariaman is located on more than enough qualifications (LdC) with an average value of 75.21. ABSTRACT This article reveals the contribution of mastery of the intrinsic elements to writing skills of the short story text grade students XI SMAN 2 Bukittinggi. The purpose of this research there are three. First, it describes the mastery of the intrinsic elements. Second, it describes the writing skills of the short story text. Third, describing the contribution of mastery of the intrinsic elements to writing skills of the short story text. This research type is quantitative, descriptive method, and design contribution. This research population is grade XI that are registered on the school year 2018/2019, i.e. as many as 311 students. The sample in this research are determined by proportional random sampling of 10% of the population, i.e. 30 students. The research data are scores as a result of mastering the intrinsic elements and the scores of writing skills from the short story text. The data obtained through two types of tests i.e. objective tests to measure the mastery of the instrinsic elements and performance tests to measure the skills of writing a short story text. The results of the research there are three. First, the mastery of the intrinsic elements are on good qualifications (B) by the value of the average 77,67. Second, the skills of writing text short story are on more than enough qualifications (LdC) with an average of 70,00. Third, there is a contribution of the intrinsic elements to writing skills of the short story text grade students XI SMAN 2 Bukittinggi at 66,26%. Kata kunci: Kontribusi, Penguasaan, Unsur Intrinsik, Keterampilan, Menulis, Teks Cerpen
