The problem of constructing a yield surface is described. The magnitude of the stress velocity potential is explained graphically. The parameters of an elastic-plastic process are introduced: a modified R. Schmidt parameter and an analogue of the Lode parameter, the sign of which changes only when the singular point of the plasticity curve passes. The formal work area of the Murnaghan law is calculated, the real area will be much smaller. An effect similar to the Bauschinger effect for the deviator of the stress tensor is assumed to be fair. In the basic experiments of uniaxial and biaxial tension, compression and shear, a piecewise-linear generator with vertices at the corresponding singular points of the plasticity curves is determined. The magnitude of the effect is approximated by a quadratic dependence in the place parameter and piecewise-linear one in the hardening parameter. According to the magnitude of the effect, at the point of the active process there is a singular point of the curve, into which the basic generator moves. The yield surface is constructed by ductility curves drawn through the generator. Determination of the magnitude of the effect under repeated loading after unloading is considered.

Abstract The traditional time series studies consider the time series as a whole while carrying on the trend detection; therefore not enough attention is paid to the stage characteristic. On the other hand, the piecewise linear fitting type methods for trend detection are lacking consideration of the possibility that the same node belongs to multiple trends. The above two methods are affected by the start position of the sequence. In this paper, the concept of overlapping trend is proposed, and the definition of milestone nodes is given on its base; these way not only the recognition of overlapping trend is realized, but also the negative influence of the starting point of sequence is effectively reduced. The experimental results show that the computational accuracy is not affected by the improved algorithm and the time cost is greatly reduced when dealing with the processing tasks on dynamic growing data sequence.

The paper focuses on the model of calculation of thin isotropic shells beyond the elastic limit. The determination of the stress-strain state of thin shells is based on the small elastic-plastic deformations theory and the elastic solutions method. In the present work the building of the solution based on the equilibrium equations and geometric relations of linear theory of thin shells in curved coordinate system α and β, and the relations between deformations and forces based on the Hirchhoff-Lave hypothesis and the small elastic-plastic deformations theory are presented. Internal forces tensor is presented in the form of its expansion to the elasticity tensor and the additional terms tensor expressed the physical nonlinearity of the problem. The functions expressed the physical nonlinearity of the material are determined. The relations that allow to determine the range of elastic-plastic deformations on the surface of the present shell and their changing in shell thickness are presented. The examples of the calculation demonstrate the convergence of elastic-plastic deformations method and the range of elastic-plastic deformations in thickness in the spherical shell. Spherical shells with the angle of half-life regarding 90 degree vertical symmetry axis under the action of equally distributed ring loads are observed.

It has been proposed to utilize the median algorithm for determination of the extrema positions of diffuse light reflectance intensity distribution by a discrete signal of a photodiode linear array. The algorithm formula has been deduced on the base of piecewise-linear interpolation for signal representation by cumulative function. It has been shown that this formula is much simpler for implementation than known centroid algorithm and the noise immune Blais and Rioux detector algorithm. Also, the methodical systematic errors for zero noise as well as the random errors for full common mode additive noises and uncorrelated noises have been estimated and compared for mentioned algorithms. In these terms, the proposed median algorithm is proportionate to Blais and Rioux algorithm and considerably better then centroid algorithm.
