Perkembangan teknologi informasi yang begitu pesat menimbulkan dampak negatif dalam dunia akademis. Salah satunya adalah reference manager sebagai alat bantu dalam menangani sitasi. Referensi merupakan permasalahan yang serius pada sebuah karya tulis ilmiah. Hal merupakan salah satu hal penting dalam mengutip karya orang lain baik itu tulisan maupun ide dengan sengaja dan mengakuinya sebagai hasil karya pribadinya. Dampak yang ditimbulkan adalah kualitas dari karya tulis ilmiah yang dihasilkan. Untuk itu perlunya pemahaman dan edukasi mengenai aturan referensi khususnya bagi mahasiswa dan civitas akademika. Kegiatan ini bekerja sama dengan Lembaga Penerbitan dan Publikasi Ilmiah (LPPI) Universitas Muhammadiyah Pontianak.  LPPI merupakan salah satu lembaga yang bertujuan untuk menaungi dan mempublikasikan karya tulis ilmiah berkualitas. Pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini mengambil tema “Pemanfaatan Reference Manager dalam Menulis Karya Tulis Ilmiah Berkualitas”. Hal ini diharapkan dapat meningkatkan pengetahuan dan pemahaman peserta terkait reference manager dan tools pendukungnya.

Objetivo: analisar a produção científica acerca das contribuições do prontuário eletrônico para pacientes, profissionais e instituições de saúde. Método: revisão integrativa da literatura, realizada no mês de fevereiro e março de 2020, nas bases de dados PubMed, LILACS, SciELO e BVS. Sendo incluídos artigos escritos em inglês, espanhol e português. Os artigos selecionados foram gerenciados no programa JabRef Reference Manager 2.5. Resultados: Na busca inicial foram identificados 91 artigos, sendo incluídos 07 no estudo. Todos os manuscritos pertenciam à área de saúde e apresentavam contribuições para pacientes, profissionais e instituições de saúde. Conclusão: a análise dos artigos mostra-se de grande relevância, uma vez que evidencia que a utilização do prontuário eletrônico proporciona contribuições éticas, legais, aspectos de segurança, estímulo ao trabalho em equipe, aumento da qualidade e produtividade do serviço, integração de informações, atualização de dados, subsídio à pesquisa e auditoria. Objetivo: Traçar o perfil bibliométrico da produção científica nacional acerca da assistência ao parto pela obstetrícia informal. Métodos:  A metodologia desta revisão foi desenvolvida de acordo com os propósitos da revisão de escopo. Para tanto foram consultadas as bases de dados BDENF, Lilacs, Medline, Pubmed e Scielo com uso dos descritores: assistência ao parto; parto domiciliar e parteira, tendo como auxílio o boleano and e or. Foram selecionados 11 estudos, que foram gerenciados no programa JabRef Reference Manager 2.5, e os dados provenientes foram submetidos a análise estatística no software Prisma. Resultados: Os estudos analisados apontam para uma necessidade de uma fonte de pesquisa dentro desta temática, que, apesar de importante e constante, ainda é escassa. Conclusão: Foi evidenciado a necessidade de desenvolverem pesquisas considerando todos os aspectos relacionados a atuação de parteiras antigamente e atualmente, bem como a utilização desta metodologia, viabilizando possíveis reflexões de pesquisadores, meio acadêmico e sociedade como um todo.

Search for documents is a common and pertinent task lots of organizations face every day as well as common Internet users in their daily searches. One specific document search is scientific paper search in reference manager systems such as Mendeley or IEEExplore. Considering the difficult task finding documents can sometimes represent, semantic search is currently being applied to improve this type of search. As the act of deciding if a document is a good result for a given search expression is vague, fuzziness becomes an important aspect when defining search algorithms. In this paper, the author present a fuzzy algorithm for improving documental searches optimized for specific scenarios where we want to find a document but don´t remember the exact words used, if plural or singular words were used or if a synonym was used. The author also present the application of this algorithm to a real scenario comparing to Mendeley and IEEExplore results.

The meta-analysis provides a unique scientific conclusion with precise statistical analysis of pooled data extracted from previously reported relevant studies. That gives a better insight into the current issue with more statistical certainty than any single study observation in biomedical research. Occasionally, meta-analyses don’t provide a precise time for each step of the search strategy. The complete meta-analysis procedure is usually time-consuming, with 6-18 months reported, but it depends on the numbers of collected articles manually reviewed by two or more researchers to prevent potential bias. The purpose of this paper was to present a part of meta-analysis research with a focus on a timeline manner for extraction procedure and suggestions for preparing the database of collected articles. PRISMA guidelines were followed, and Pub Med, Scopus, and ISI Web of Science for the search were used. EndNote reference manager v.7 and Microsoft Excel 2007 were used for base preparation. Results showed that the final reference number was 4918, and 99.88% of them were excluded. A month was necessary for the search of the electronic databases. For reading titles and abstracts and extracting the papers was needed the fourth month. A month was needed for an additional search of bibliographies of the eligible papers. Even with the dedication of the team of reviewers, it is hard to predict the exact time for conducting the meta-analysis, indeed. Our results could be applicable in planning the potential systematic reviews, with or without meta-analysis, and overcoming the obstacles in the single database preparation.
