Excessive waste is one of the problems in the food supply chain system. This study aims to identify supply chain players, map, and reduce waste that occurs in the Papaya California agribusiness supply chain process in Cikarang, Bekasi. Data collection was obtained from the results of field studies and interviews with parties involved in the supply chain such as farmers, distributors, retailers, and consumers. Increasing the effectiveness of Papaya's supply chain network is by improving the quality of packaging (modified atmosphere packaging (MAP), smart packaging, active packaging, and intelligent packag­ing), sharing data among chain players supply, implement refri­ge­ration and monitor transportation technology and promote the long term.  Good coordination between parties involved in the Papaya supply chain has a significant role in creating an effective and effici­ent supply chain system.

One renewable energy form currently being promoted is that of biodiesel as a substitute for diesel fuel. This involves mixing biodiesel with petrodiesel in proportions governed by the respective regulations of each country. The purposes of this research are to support the exploiting of biodiesel forms of renewable energy and to optimize the palm oil-sourced biodiesel supply chain by conducting an Indonesia-based case study. The optimization process was implemented in accordance with the government's mandate and long-term planning. There are two decision variables to consider. First, the model will identify the optimum delivery point locations as a blending terminal between biodiesel and petrodiesel (petroleum diesel). Second, it will determine the location of biodiesel plants’ construction in order to satisfy the government's mandate. The results show that, while determining delivery point locations affects supply chain costs, it does not do so significantly. More influential is determining the construction locations of biodiesel plants and this study provides a model for deciding the delivery points and locations of biodiesel plants in order to minimize biodiesel supply chain costs in Indonesia. This study presents in detail biodiesel supply chain process in Indonesia and based on the literature, no research was found on studying optimization biodiesel supply chain in Indonesia.

Vendor Managed Inventory (VMI) is an approach in managing inventory between supplier and consumer in an supply chain system. In VMI concept, supplier keeps its inventory at consumer’s warehouse, meanwhile inventory ownership belong to supplier until it is used by consumer. The advantage of VMI is to reduce inventory replenishment ordering process and to reduce the usage of consumer’s warehouse space. Some key factors to achieve VMI success are: coordination, communication, production system and inventory order reliability.When supplier is a subsidiary of consumer, coordination between the two usually puts them not at an equivalent level, especially when supplier’s infrastructure is not as good as that at consumer. This research is a case study at a pharmaceutical company and its supplier which acts as its subsidiary. Information and data gathered by deep interview to all parties responsible for supply chain, production, and inventory at supplier and consumer sides. The results show advantages and obstacles in applying VMI, thus long-term commitment is needed to reach a better performance.

Objective This research is to examine the supply chain management process carried out by fishermen in searching for fish in the Brondong archipelago - Lamongan East Java fishing port. In this study, researchers used a qualitative case study method with miles and hubberman analysis techniques (data reduction, data display and data verification). In this research, researchers look directly at the supply chain management process carried out there. In this study, researchers also examined the process that is adapted to Islamic Sharia, so that the supply chain process that is there can be said as a halal activity and also thayyiban. In accordance with the research objective, which is to examine halal supply chain management, researchers found that the process carried out by the fishermen who were there in carrying out their activities could be said to be halal and also tayiban

Blockchain is creating extraordinary opportunities for businesses to come together in new ways such as creating new values, optimize ecosystems and reduce risk. Using this Blockchain virtually anything of value can be tracked and traded, without requiring a central point of control.Blockchain is disrupting the supply chain industry the way they Technology are currently operating, in terms of overcoming issues with their operating layer, Document layer and Messaging layer.One of the objectives of the study was to identify the relevant blockchain use cases that can address the current pain points of various participants in the integrated supply chain process and improve the current operational and technical environment. Supply chain costs can typically amount to 70% and holds the most levers for optimization. Gaining effective visibility and insights into the operations delivers significant and sustainable benefits. The assessment methodology focused around existing processes, technology & supply chain participant roles to establish common workflows across different participants, understanding of client’s pain points, operational inefficiencies and technology maturity. Post which came up with an "Industry Circle" to clearly articulate participants and their respective data exchange patterns to recommend optimizations. Supply and replenishment patterns become long term strategies rather than short term operational tactics. With Blockchain enabled supply chain, bring in value in terms of full visibility, transparency, reduced time, security in the entire network (for example: components can be tracked from their manufacturing to finished product) and with Smart Contracts, SLAs executed automatically.

Abstract The main problem of the salt supply chain system is the oligopoly market structure dominated by middlemen which reduces the bargaining power of farmers. It has, however, been discovered that vertical collaboration (farmers to cooperatives) and horizontal collaboration (farmers to farmers) models have the ability to increase farmers' revenue. Therefore, this research was conducted to determine the effect of both horizontal and vertical collaboration models on the salt supply chain system with the expectation to increase farmers' revenue. This involved the application of the cooperative game theory with Shapley's value used as the basis for decision making. The result showed that the collaboration of stakeholders in the salt supply chain system has the ability to increase farmers' revenue, especially when they sell a maximum of 20% of their products through cooperatives and the rest through middlemen. This means the existence of farmers as cooperative members has a positive impact as observed in the revenue increment. Therefore, it is recommended that cooperatives improve their functions and roles as providers of savings and loans and market seekers, determine the appropriate prices for salt, and improve the quality of the products produced by their members. Moreover, a collaboration between farmers is mutually beneficial and this means efforts should be made to ensure cooperation, especially for small farmers.
