Power generation using waste heat from cement kiln can not only bring economic benefits to the enterprise, but also play an important role in environment protection. Constantly researches have proved that there is still large energy saving potential in its operation. In this paper, the waste heat power generation system was divided into several subsystems, and the exergy calculation model of each subsystem unit was established. Finally, the weakest part in energy use was found according to the results. It provides a scientific basis for performance improvement and energy saving transformation of waste heat power generation.

The system of integrated heat supply from steam boilers using condensation heat exchangers based on thermal testing of the boiler unit TGMP-114S in the Syrdarya HPS, which is the largest heat power station in Uzbekistan with a capacity of 3200 MW, was considered. It has been calculated that the increasing of the efficiency the heat supply system for this boiler is equal to 3.4%.

The waste heat boiler is an important part of waste heat power station in cement plant. So it is highly important to control the drum level of waste heat boiler within the allowed range. A Double-Stage fuzzy controller which is used to control the drum level of the waste heat boiler is presented in this paper. This method adds a secondary fuzzy controller to adjust the weight of the first fuzzy controller’s factor on the basis of a general fuzzy controller. Simulation results show that the double-stage fuzzy control system has fast respond speed, high precision and strong anti-jamming capability.

The management decision fault during prophase demonstration, design and operation on power station can be avoided effectively by technical and economic evaluation of power station project. In this paper, the sintering circular-cooler waste heat power station in WISCO is taken as an example. Through analyzing the two methods of technical and economic evaluation on power plant and constructing the evaluation system of sintering waste heat power plant, the technical evaluation on overallcondition of power plant is made by adopting the ways of contrastive analysis, and index weight value of power plant is computed by analytic hierarchy process, then power station is evaluated through combining the two evaluation methods. And the bandwidth of net power output basic parameters of per ton of sinter waste heat is determined. The study results can provide reference basis for the initiating project and technology decisions of waste heat power station.
