Abstract Altemp X-750 is a precipitation-hardenable nickel-base alloy that is highly resistant to chemical corrosion and oxidation and has excellent stress-rupture and creep properties at temperatures up to 815 deg C (1500 deg F) after suitable heat treatment. The alloy has oxidation resistance up to 980 deg C (1800 deg F). It is typically used in aircraft turbine and structural components.
