Abstract J and L type 201 stainless steel is an austenitic alloy with approximately 6.5% manganese. The nickel and chromium contents are lower than typical to allow more work hardening and to obtain high tensile strengths with excellent ductility. This datasheet provides information on composition, physical properties, hardness, elasticity, and tensile properties. It also includes information on corrosion resistance as well as forming, heat treating, machining, and joining. Filing Code: SS-768. Producer or source: J & L Specialty Steel Inc.

Abstract ALZ 301 is an austenitic stainless steel with good cold formability, toughness and high mechanical properties. Its corrosion resistance is similar to that of ALZ 304. Because of its higher carbon content, the risk for sensitization during welding is higher. Therefore, its use is limited when substantial welding is necessary. This datasheet provides information on composition, physical properties, hardness, elasticity, and tensile properties. It also includes information on forming, heat treating, machining, and joining. Filing Code: SS-816. Producer or source: ALZ nv.
