The development of new methods of technical diagnostics is an important task aimed at improving the efficiency and safety of the operation of industrial equipment. Such methods are complexes of jointly used methods for obtaining diagnostic information, methods for extracting from it the actual data on the technical state of the diagnosed objects, and methods for organizing diagnostic processes. Complex technical systems are characterized by complex nonlinear interactions between their constituent elements, complex scenarios of causal relationships between hazardous, probabilistic events and processes occurring during their operation. These scenarios can be implemented in complex scenario trees. Features of technical diagnostics of complex technical systems are determined by the distinctive properties of failures in such systems and scenarios. The technical diagnostics system is an information-measuring system and contains sensors of controlled parameters, communication lines with an information collection unit, executive devices, devices for interfacing with other information-measuring and control systems. Methods of technical diagnostics serve as the basis for constructing such a system. The current level and prospects for the development of diagnostic tools, flaw detection and automated control open real possibilities of using methods of maintenance and repair of equipment by a technical condition. The greatest effect from the use of such a system is achieved when operating complex equipment, preventive repair of which is associated with high costs, and emergency repair.

The article suggests an approach to determine structural elements technical condition, based on the mathematical probabilistic apparatus of technical diagnostics. Diagnostics are performed using probabilistic methods of complex technical systems conditions recognition. Probabilistic parameters are calculated according to Bayes’s rule. The paper shows a diagnostics example of intermediate floor elements and systems in the old urban development building. Both the suggested method and information theory methods are used during diagnostics.

Here are considered the basic estimation criteria of the reliability and technical condition of hydraulic engineering constructions. The basic methods of the estimation and calculation of the reliability of complex technical systems are analyzed. Conclusions are drawn and recommendations how to use these methods are offered with reference to hydraulic engineering objects and constructions.

A logging vehicle is a source of increased danger, and its serviceability affects road safety. Diagnostics of the technical condition of the car allows you to timely identify serious defects in components, mechanisms and aggregates without removing them and disassembling them, to have time to eliminate malfunctions in time and bring the technical characteristics to the standard. Analysis of the literature data has shown that diagnostics of the technical condition of a logging vehicle plays an important role in preventing accidents. Our task was to improve the reliability of the car and reduce the complexity of work during the next maintenance. In the article, we justify the criteria necessary for the organization of safe operation of logging vehicles when transporting timber on public roads. The age and technical condition of the timber rolling stock fleet is analyzed. The most frequent failures of forest transport vehicles on the example of cars of the KAMAZ family, affecting the organization of traffic safety, are determined. The necessity of pre-trip control inspections and Express diagnostics of vehicles is revealed. Taking into account the identified shortcomings, the scheme of post-trip removal of parameters from the built-in diagnostics system of a logging vehicle and subsequent remote transmission of data to the server of the control room of a motor transport enterprise has been developed. The conducted scientific research allowed us to find a solution to the problem, which is to allocate technical diagnostics in an independent type of technical impact. This measure will reduce the costs of premature technical impacts on the systems, components and aggregates of timber rolling stock without reducing the requirements for traffic safety

Reducing the risks and the equipment ownership costs for the lessor, especially in the post-warranty period, requires developing and implementing a new automated system for equipment maintenance. The article presents an analysis and off ers possibilities of using indicator counters and neural network technologies to monitor the technical condition of energy-rich tractors online. The authors give an example of using a neural network calculator to identify malfunctions in the transmission line and increase the controllability and objectivity of assessing the current technical condition of tractors under the lease. Counters-indicators are built-in express diagnostic tools. Their use helps minimize preparatory operations to determine the technical condition, visualize and analyze parameters for monitoring the technical condition of individual components and units, and increase the operational reliability of equipment under the lease. The use of neural network technology in the technical diagnostics of equipment will generalize the experience of diagnosticians and service experts for fault localization and enable specialists with little experience to assess the technical condition and determine the amount of work needed to eliminate malfunctions, thereby reducing the time and cost of repairs.

The article analyzes a number of methods of knowledge formation using various graph models, including oriented, undirected graphs with the same type of edges and graphs with multiple and different types of edges. This article shows the possibilities of using graphs to represent a three-level structure of knowledge in the field of complex technical systems modeling. In such a model, at the first level, data is formed in the form of unrelated graph vertices, at the second level – information presented by a related undirected graph, and at the third level – knowledge in the form of a set of graph paths. The proposed interpretation of the structure of knowledge allows to create new opportunities for analytical study of knowledge and information, their properties and relationships.

Technical diagnostics is an integral part of the railway maintenance process. Through timely maintenance, in addition to ensuring the safety, functional and technical reliability of the infrastructure, maintenance costs are reduced and downtime losses, due to failures or premature repair requests, are eliminated or reduced. The track infrastructure diagnostic tools have evolved. This is related to, among others, the miniaturisation of instruments, reading accuracy during motion, as well as upgraded measurement automation and result analysis. Currently, data obtained from multifunctional diagnostic tools is the basis for the developed Russian railway infrastructure maintenance and operation digital model. The strategic development of mobile diagnostic labs is the gradual transition to solutions with advanced digital analysis, supported by artificial intelligence, monitoring and forecasting. The article presents the development of mobile labs for the railroad infrastructure condition diagnosis up to the current solutions, in which measurements take place without human intervention and the obtained information is transmitted in real time to the analysis and decision centres.
