In software development life cycle, testing is needed to ensure the quality of the software before it is released. Choosing the testing technique depends on the characteristics of the software to be released. Web-based applications, for example, will tend to use end-to-end testing techniques to ensure web pages interact according to requirements. The cycle of software development recently is getting shorter. It is necessary to study to determine the testing implementation techniques (manually or automated) on the right end-to-end testing. The research objective is to look at the characteristics and technical testing of end-to-end testing that can be done in software development, both manually and automatically. The result showed that the number of iterations of end-to-end testing is very influential in the selection of quality techniques used. That can be a basis for determining testing techniques: manual or automatic.

Testing is broadly classified into three levels: Unit Testing, Addition Testing, and System Testing. Whenever we think of developing any software we always concentrate on making the software bug free and most reliable. At this point of time Testing is used to make the software a bug free. Software Testing has been measured as the most important stage of the software development life cycle. Around 60% of resources and money are cast-off for the testing of software. Testing can be manual or automated. Software testing is an activity that emphases at assessing the competence of a program and commands that it truly meets the excellence results. There are many test cases that help in detecting the bugs so, in this paper we describe about the most commonly used test cases and testing techniques for the error detection.

If software requirements are not right, companies will not end up with the software they need. This chapter discusses the various levels and types of requirements that need to be defined, the benefits of having the right software requirements, the stakeholders of the software requirements and getting them involved in the process, requirements activities throughout the software development life cycle, and techniques for eliciting, analyzing, specifying, and validating software requirements.

This chapter provides practitioners in the field with a set of guidelines to help them through the process of elaborating an adequate automated testing framework to competently test automatic speech recognition systems. Through this chapter the testing process of such a system is analyzed from different angles, and different methods and techniques are proposed that are well suited for this task.

This chapter approaches paramount aspects related to test automation, introducing the importance of implementation in the software market and essential bases, such as adjustment to the organizational reality and establishment of an efficient strategy. Types of tools and directives for a successful implantation are presented. Test automation has been considered the main measure taken to enhance test efficiency — fundamental in the software-development process. Responsible for verifying and/or validating the quality of the executable product compared to performed documentation and client requirements. Therefore, with the chapter content here provided, we aim to provide the reader with an understanding of test automation and grant relevant orientations to assist implementing it.

Software testing is a very labor intensive and costly task. Therefore, many software testing techniques to automate the process of software testing have been reported in the literature. Assertion-Based automated software testing has been shown to be effective in detecting program faults as compared to traditional black-box and white-box software testing methods. However, the applicability of this approach in the presence of large numbers of assertions may be very costly. Therefore, software developers need assistance while making decision to apply Assertion-Based testing in order for them to get the benefits of this approach at an acceptable level of costs. In this paper, we present an Assertion-Based testing metrics technique that is based on fuzzy logic. The main goal of the proposed technique is to enhance the performance of Assertion-Based software testing in the presence of large numbers of assertions. To evaluate the proposed technique, an experimental study was performed in which the proposed technique is applied on programs with assertions. The result of this experiment shows that the effectiveness and performance of Assertion-Based software testing have improved when applying the proposed testing metrics technique.

Tembe Nggoli is a typical Bima sarong made by weaving which is still preserved by the community in Neta Village, Palibelo District, Bima Regency. Tembe Nggoli is a hand-crafted art that has been passed down from generation to generation for the sake of preserving the weaving art. Currently, the selling process of Tembe Nggoli is still manual or conventional by selling directly to the public without marketing media so that it is only known by the surrounding community. This resulted in relatively lower income from the sale of Tembe Nggoli, so the process of returning capital was very slow. These problems can be solved by developing e-commerce in the sales process or introducing the craft. The purpose of this research is to build an e-commerce selling Tembe Nggoli based on a responsive website. The method used in building this application is the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) with the Waterfall Model. The results of this study have resulted in an e-commerce application selling the Tembe Nggoli Khas Bima sarong that is web-based responsive, so that the appearance of the application can adapt to various types of devices. With this application, it is expected to be able to provide convenience in the shopping process that can assist consumers in finding the desired product quickly and done anywhere and anytime. In addition, this application provides various kinds of information related to Tembe Nggoli products. Testing this system using blackbox testing which states that the system has been running in accordance with the functionality and procedures that are the purpose of developing the system. The functional suitability of the built system reaches 100%.

Recommendations are application models from previous measurement of data and information. To process data that is quite a lot is used the right method. Association rules are one technique that can be used in associating indirect data from a data. The purpose of this study is to create a system that can be used to provide information on goods in accordance with consumer combinations. The method used is direct interviews with staff to get information in the form of sales data and system requirements. The design model uses the System Development Life Cycle (SDLC), namely Analysis, Design, Construction, Implementation, and Testing. The system design method used is UML (Unified Modeling Language). The system used is an algorithm that is made web-based using the language PHP and MySQL as databases. The results used in this study are to stop at the specified 2-item iteration and two rules that meet minimum 30% support rules and a minimum confidence of 70%, namely Cofemix → Sugar and Sugar → Sugar.

<span>The ‘Movie Ticket Purchase System’ is a web-based application. In this application, people can purchase movie tickets from all movie theatres in Bangladesh. Before purchasing a ticket, people have to do registration or login. This website builds by PHP and JavaScript for back-end; HTML, CSS for front-end. All steps of the software development life cycle are addressed properly to develop and implement the software. This website has three panels: one for the Admin, one for the Theatre Assistant and another for the Customer/User. Admin can insert the theatres, and Theatre Assistant handled maximum manual works on the website like movie add, delete, stop running, screen adds, etc. This is the first website in Bangladesh where people can purchase tickets from multiple movie halls and the site is only dedicated to this purpose. The website is very user-friendly and attractive that can give comfort to the end users. Also, the theater owners that have no digital platform for selling tickets can be a member of our service and get the opportunity of using digital platform.</span>
