Very different objects have been reported as foreign bodies in the urinary bladder, which encompasses everything available in the environment, and each one presents a new challenge to urologists. Herein, we report the case of a 21-year-old male patient presented with lower urinary tract symptoms. Two months before his presentation, he had introduced a 110 cm soft electrical wire to his urethra, which migrated into the bladder. Although it has been said that most foreign bodies in the bladder could be endoscopically removed, an attempt to remove this wire by cystoscopy was unsuccessful, and suprapubic cystostomy was performed for the removal. Therefore, it is recommended to consider suprapubic cystostomy the choice of treatment instead of the endoscopic procedure in the case of long and knotted wires to avoid injuries to the urethra.

Congenital prostatic cysts are rare and it is unusual for these patients to present with symptoms. We report the case of a 17-year-old man who presented with obstructive lower urinary tract symptoms and was found to have a prostatic cyst and other abnormalities of the genitourinary system. The patient subsequently underwent transurethral aspiration of the cyst with good effect. A brief review of the embryology behind these lesions along with a review of the literature is provided. Level of evidence: Not applicable for this multicentre audit.

Dentists often find foreign bodies in the primary dentition of children who habitually place objects in their mouths. The objects are frequently embedded in exposures that result from carious or traumatic lesions or from endodontic procedures that have been left open for drainage. Such bodies are often detected on routine radiographs and, less frequently, during clinical examination. We report a case of a 6-year-old boy who had inadvertently embedded a screw in his mandibular right first primary molar and had forgotten about it until it became symptomatic. The screw was impacted in the exposed pulp chamber due to a large carious lesion in the affected molar. This case report considers the possible medical and dental consequences of placing foreign bodies in the mouth.

Urethral diverticulum is a condition where the urethra or the periurethral glands push into the connective tissue layers that surround it. Patients of urethral diverticulum present with nonspecific symptoms such as incontinence, urinary frequency and urgency, and pain during sexual intercourse and urination. The incidence of this condition is low. We report a case of giant anterior urethra stones combined with a diverticulum with no lower urinary tract symptoms. We believe that this case is extremely rare, and the process of diagnosis and treatment is of great significance in clinical practice.
